Retiring Lists are Out!

Holiday gift card holders

Hello Stampers!  Do you still need gift card holders for your Holiday gift giving?  Then maybe these will give you some great ideas!  These were the gift card holders from my team party this last weekend.

The way we work our exchange is that everybody brings a gift card with a pretty handmade holder.  We play a game and then everybody picks and walks away with a different gift card!  So fun!

Weekend projects

Hello Stampers!  Thanks for coming back today to check out my fun projects that I made over the weekend!  I got together with a good friend of mine that I actually met through Stampin' Up!  She lives a couple of hours away and we used to get to see each other every year at Convention and again at Leadership.  Now that Stampin' Up! has changed the way they hold Convention, and the locations, we don't get to see each other very often!  So we decided we just needed to make an effort, and this weekend was it!  We met in the middle on Sunday.  Got a hotel room and stamped and talked for hours!  We had so much fun!  Here are the projects that we made:

 This was the first project that I brought.  I wanted to figure out how to make a twist and pop card!

 We did it!  So easy and such a WOW card!

 I also wanted to make a gift card wallet using our gift bag punch board!

 They turned out really cute too!  Be watching for a video on how to make these!

Team meeting and gift card holders

Hello Stampers!  This last Sunday was my team Christmas party!  We had a fantastic time!  We gathered at my house, ordered in food, and had a hot chocolate bar!  One of our activities for the evening was a What Would Dina Do card making!  I will show you  the creations for everybody soon!  We also held a gift card exchange.  Everybody brought a gift card from their favorite place, and placed it in a handmade gift card holder!  Here are the creations:

Hello Stampers!  At our team Christmas party, we also hold a gift card exchange.  Each person purchases a gift card and make a cute gift card holder for it.  We then play a game and exchange the holders.  People are so clever and creative!  Here are the holders:

Stamping event

Hello Stampers!  Earlier this month I was able to attend a special stamping event for Stampin' Up! demonstrators.  It was a full day event and it was a lot of fun!  There were freebies, make n' takes, display boards, demonstrations, and a service project!  Here are some pictures:

 This is all of my goodies that I came home with!  The berry basket was full of samples from the Occasions catalog, including ribbon, buttons, designer series paper samples, bakers twine, and of course some chocolate!  The curvy keepsake box is a gift I received from another demonstrator.  The heart below it is my nametag!  Super cute with the Bow Builder punch!

The two tags on the left side were demonstration examples that I made showing the Bokah technique and using the new chalkboard ink.

Finally, in front are the make n' takes from the day.  Here they are up close:

   This butterfly was cut out of the Irresistably Yours designer series paper that we colored with sponge daubers and a stamp pad.

 This card used the Love is Kindness stamp, which we received at the event.  The beautiful tulips were colored with Blendabilities.

 This fun card uses the Cheerful Critters stamp set, one of my favorites!  To get the bunny's pink outfit, we simply stamped the stamp on pink cardstock and cut out the dress part only.

 This fun step card was made using the Painted Petals stamp set and the Painted Blooms designer series paper.  Such a fun card!

 This is the gift card holder that we made using the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits die which was carried over from the Holiday catalog.

 Love the idea of putting some designer series paper inside!!!

 This is the gift bag card we made using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits die.  I was going to hold out and not purchase this die, but finally broke down and ordered it!  It's on it's way now and I can't wait to get it and start playing!  Be watching for some creations!

Gift card holders

Hello Stampers!  A while back I participated in a gift card holder exchange with my team.  The card holders could be any theme, because we figured we could adapt them to whatever occasion we needed them for.  We received some amazing gift card holders!  Want to see them?  Here are some...

 This gift card holder was made by Laura.  She used the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlit Die from the Holiday catalog.  And of course she used washi tape on the front, because Laura loves her washi tape!!

 I don't remember who made this holder, but I think it is adorable!  But of course I love anything with cupcakes on top of it!!! 

 Isn't this a fun holder?  It was made using the Gift Card Enclosures from the catalog.  You get 10 enclosures for only $5.95!

 Love the way this holder opens!  I believe this holder was made using the envelope punch board!

 This holder was made by Karen.  It is the size of a greeting card so it will fit inside a regular envelope.

 Finally, this is the gift card holder that I made.  I also used the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlit with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine.  I love this framelit!  So easy to use! 

The flower on the front of my holder was made using the Simply Pressed Clay with the Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay molds.  After the clay sat over night, I was able to color it with my markers.

I recently used the Simply Pressed Clay when I made these flower embelishments for my gift card holders. 

I was in a swap with my team where we made gift card holders!  I simply pressed the clay into the Blossom SImply Pressed Mold and then carefully popped them out.  Once they had dried overnight, I colored them with my Stampin' Write Markers!  So easy!  But such a WOW effect!

Wedding car gift card holder

Hello Stampers!  Do you remember the wedding I was talking back back in May?  It was a really good friend of mine's daughter.  I wanted to make her some super cute gifts because she is crafty also, and I knew that she would appreciate all of the time and energy put into her gifts!  I have to show you this super cute Wedding gift card holder that I recently made!  It is a convertible wedding car!  Super cute!

 This is a picture of the side of the car.

 This is the front of the car.

 This is the back of the car with the cans hanging off!  If you pull open the trunk holding on to the trailer hitch, it opens up and the gift card fits snuggly inside!  The cans were made using our silver foil paper.  Perfect!

 This is the inside of the car!  Don't you just love it!!! 

I made the car in the wedding colors which were yellow and gray.  I got the tutorial for this from Lorri's site!  I can't wait for another wedding to come up so that I can make another one of these fun projects!  It did take me quite awhile to do, but Lorri's directions were very clear and easy to follow!
