Masculine swaps

Hello Stampers!  At my team meeting last weekend, our swap theme was masculine cards.  I love doing this theme because it seems like I am always in need of masculine cards and I never seem to have enough!  Now I've got lots of ideas to make more!  Here they are:

 This is the card that I made!  It is hard to see in this picture, but inside the word Happy has been embossed with the Celebrations Duo Textured Impressions embossing folder.  And did you notice that I also used the new Tranquil Tide for my card base!  It is a great color!

Nailed It and Avant Garden

Hello Stampers!  I have a great class coming up that I am so excited about!  It is my tool card class using the Nailed It stamp set!  I created these three cards using the catalog and Pinterest as my inspiration.  Here are the projects we will be making:

Class will be held on Thursday, March 30th at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church - Arnold.

There are two pricing options for this class:

1) $67 will get you the Nailed It stamp set, Build It framelits, Urban Underground embellishments, and 1/2 sheet Silver foil.

2) 42 will get you the Nailed It stamp set, Urban Underground embillishments, and 1/2 sheet Silver foil

You must RSVP and pay for this class by 3/20.

Can't make it to class but want to make these cards?  You can purchase a kit for the same price!  Cardstock will be measured and cut but items will not be stamped or die cut.  You will also receive a pdf containing step by step instructions for creating these three cards.

Father's Day card

Hello Stampers!  I have to show you the Father's Day card that I made for my hubby!  It is so fun!

First let me start off by saying that the man has one hobby, and that is brewing his own beer!  He stinks up my house every couple of months as he cooks all of his stuff together, mixes it, and cools it.  Yuck!

So, this is the card that I made for him:

It is really pretty good size, about 5" tall and maybe 6" wide.  I even had to create a special envelope!

Here he is with the card on his knee so you can get a better idea of the size:

Now he doesn't usually say a whole lot about the cards I make.  He of course says they are nice, but that is about it.  When he opened this one he just went on and on about how neat it was!  I guess this one was a hit!  He even said he was going to keep it on his desk!

Masculine cards

Hello Stampers!  Yesterday was our June team meeting!  I just love these days because we have so much fun!  There were 17 of us yesterday enjoing a day of food, socializing, swapping, and crafting!

June team meeting show n' tell

Hello Stampers!  As I was posting the pictures from my recent team meeting, I realized that I hadn't ever posted pictures from the June meeting!  So here are some samples of projects that my team has been working on from the June meeting:

 This is one of those fun cards where the middle circles are attached with either bakers twine or dental floss.  You spin the circle around several times before putting it in the envelope.  Then, when the recipient takes it out of the envelope and opens the card, it spins around!  Too fun!

 I love the gold sparkels on this card!

May My Paper Pumpkin kit

Hello Stampers!  I wanted to show you the cards that I made using the May My Paper Pumpkin kit.  This kit was fabulous!

May card class

Hello Stampers!  I wanted to show you the cards that we will be making in my card classes this month!
