Hello Stampers! Welcome to the Alaska Achiever's Blog Hop for the month of March! Those participating in the hop today are Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all around the world that have achieved the prestigious Stampin' Up! incentive trip that only a limited number around the world achieve. This month's theme is Sale-a-bration and Occasions catalogs products.
Today I thought I would showcase one of the items that came out in the second round of Sale-a-bration rewards. It is the Springtime Foils Specialty designer series paper.

Hello Stampers! Today is my wedding anniversary! My hubby and I have been married for 26 wonderful years! And what a difference a year makes! At this time last year, we were enjoying the beautiful island of Barbados. Today, we went out for snowcones after I got off work tonight!

Hello Stampers! Today is my 25th wedding anniversary! Our silver anniversary! I decided to get sentimental and pull out my wedding album! My what babies we were! I was 21 when I got married and my hubby was 23.
Of course, I had to make my hubby a card! Want to see it???
I am loving the decorative masks in the new catalog! Check them out on page 205 of the catalog. This one is from the Hearts & Stars set (133777). The templates are 8" X 8" and you get two of them in a package. There are two different packages to choose from. I just laid the template over my cardstock and sponged it with a sponge dauber and my stamp pad. Super easy! I have used them on several cards so far!
The sentiment is from the Yippee-Skippee stamp set (w-131341 c-131344) and of course I used the Hearts Collection framelits (125599) to cut my two hearts.
I can't show you the inside of card because of all of the gushy stuff I wrote!

Hello Stampers! Today is my anniversary! 24 years ago today I married my best friend! Want to see the card I made for him?
I know, I thought I was doing the right thing when I made it in shades of blue. But his first comment was "It's kind of frilly isn't it?" Perhaps secretly I was making it for myself too!!! It's the thought that counts, that and I had fun making it!
I used the Hearts A Flutter stamp set (w-131922 c-129252) and the coordinating Hearts a Flutter framelits (130159). And this made me very happy because I got to use the new Magnetic Platform (130658) for the Big Shot while I was cutting them out! WOW! that new platform is amazing! Love it!

Hello Stampers! I have been wanting to show you a card that I made for one of my downline group swaps. Our theme was love/wedding/anniversary.
These cards were so fun to make! I simply used the Hearts Collection Framelits (125599) dies. I layered them all at one time on my cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439). I then took every other heart and adhered them on the flaps. The biggest and smallest hearts were adhered on the left side, and the middle heart was adhered on the right side. What a cool effect as the hearts go between each other to close and open the card.
You should try this technique out and let me see what you come up with! I can't wait to try this with the Labels Collection Framelits (125598) and the Floral Frames Framelits (127012)!
Hello Stampers! I'm having such a hard time getting used to the fact that some of my favorite Stampin' Up! colors are about to retire! Who out there just LOVES Concord Crush as much as I do? And when it is paired with Wisteria Wonder it is even better!
Are you wondering how in the world I embossed the hearts on this card?
I have seen tutorials on how to do this embossing with the new Framlits dies, so I decided to give it a try! Here's are the layers from the bottom up:
Multipurpose platform on tab 1
Clear standard cutting pad
cardstock shim
silicone rubber sheet (114615)
cardstock sheet to emboss
framelit die with cutting edge facing up
clear standard cutting pad
Run this through the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439) and you are all set! Isn't it beautiful? I used the Hearts Collection Framelit die (125599) from the Occasions mini catalog. I sure hope they carry these over into the new upcoming catalog!
Did you know that the new catalog comes out on June 1st? As a demosntrator, I get to see it next month, and I can't wait!!!
