Hello Stampers!  Welcome back to Make a Card Monday!  Today I will be showing you how to make a fun birthday card in Black, White, and a dab of Yellow!  I love these colors together on a card!  They just say WOW!

Demonstrator event

Hello Stampers!  Last weekend was a very busy weekend for me!  On Friday I drove up to Champagne, IL to attend a Stampin' Up! demonstrator event.  We had a session on Friday evening and all day Saturday.  I then drove home Saturday evening so I could hold my team meeting on Sunday!  Such a stamp filled weekend!!!

Today I want to share with you some pictures from my event on Saturday.  We spent the day stamping and learning new stamping techniques!!  What better way to spend a day!!

Flower jar Box

Hello Stampers!  I'm so excited to share with you today the project that I made in my Silhouette class this month!   Every month I attend a class and we make a project using our Silhouette ecutter machines and paper!  I love being able to be the customer at a class that I don't have to plan and prepare for!!!

This month we made these super cute Flower jar boxes.  It's not really a box, but I didn't know what else to call it!  It is like a small pallet.  We dry painted them and then made lots of paper flowers.  

 The jar and monogram are vinyl.  I'm anxious to make some more of these!  They will make great gifts or perfect for selling at some craft fairs!

Make a Card Monday!

Hello Stampers!  A second post today!  I made my Make a Card Monday video so I wanted to go ahead and post it today!

In today's video I'm going to show you how to make the faux water filled vases card using the Sponging on Vellum Cardstock technique.  This is the card that I received in a swap from my friend Jeri.  I used it as my sample.

Holiday goodies!

Alaska Recap

Hello Stampers!  It's so nice to be back home, but life has been super hectic since we got home!  While we were gone our oldest daughter signed her contract for a new job as a resource teacher, so now we are trying to go apartment shopping, furniture shopping, and get her ready for the school year!  My youngest daughter received her placement for her internship in New Zealand which will start September 3rd so we have been trying to get her paperwork done, get her visa, airline tickets, etc. plus we are moving her into her apartment at school which she will be staying in until she leaves and after she gets back to finish the semester.  WOW! 

Anyway, I wanted to do a recap of my trip for you and show you some of my favorite pictures!!  Tomorrow I will show you some pictures of samples from some products from the upcoming Holiday catalog.
