Hello Stampers!  I know it's Tuesday, but it's time for Make a Card Monday!  Since yesterday was a holiday, I'm a day behind!  But I think today's card and video will be well worth the wait!!  I just love the look of this card!  What do you think?

Ronald McDonald House Charities Creative Escape

Hello Stampers!  I'm so excited about this fabulous event that we have coming up!  Do you love to craft?  Would you like to have some crafting time away from the demands of your household?  Then this is the event for you!

We will be crafting on Saturday, June 23rd from 9:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m.

The cost of this event is $30 which will include a goodie bag with over $10 in products.  You will use these products to complete 8 cards, 2 each of 4 designs.  4 of these cards are to keep for yourself and 4 will be donated to local Ronald McDonald Houses.

There will be snacks and beverages provided and fabulous door prizes!

There will also be two additional classes that you can sign up for to make some additional cards or a home decor piece.

Class #1

Home frame $25.

This class will include the frame and four inserts.

Additional inserts $10

This will include 9 additional inserts for your frame.

Class #2

Calligraphy Essentials Card Kit $25

We will be making 16 cards, four each of four designs.

Diagonal Gate Fold Cards

Hello Stampers!  It's Make a Card Monday!  I was so excited to get this video done today so I could share with you the cards that I demonstrated at a Stampin' Up! event this weekend!

I attended an event put on by another demonstrator in the St. Louis area, and she asked me to demonstrator fun folds.  Here is the display board that my co-presentor, Julie and I put together:

Fruit Basket and Thoughts & Prayers samples

Hello Stampers!  I wanted to showcase a couple more retiring stamp sets today!  

One of the sets that I'm really going to miss is the Fruit Basket stamp set.  This set was in the Occasions catalog.

 

It also comes as a bundle and has coordinating punches.

Another stamp set that I am really going to miss is Thoughts & Prayers.  This set makes beautiful sympathy and get well cards.

Alaska Achievers Monthly Blog Hop

Happy Mother's Day!

Hello Stampers!  Happy Mother's Day to all of the mother's out there!  I had a super day with my mom and my daughters!  I'm so lucky to have gotten to spend the day with them all!

Yesterday was my monthly crop.  I love this day because I can usually get so much accomplished!  I also like to give little gifts to all of the attendees.  Here are the little gifts I made for this month:

I used the April Paper Pumpkin kit!  I don't use a lot of 3" X 3" cards, I  cut up the envelopes to make my bag toppers!  And the life saver stamp was perfect to use for these!

Baseball Eclipse Card

Hello Stampers!  I absolutely LOVE to go to the Cardinals baseball game!  We were given some tickets to go last week, so I needed a thank you card!  I thought I would make it on Make a Card Monday!  I decided to show the Eclipse technique on it.

See how the baseball looks like it is standing up from the card?  That is the eclipse technique!  Watch my video to find out how to do this!

Petal Passion card class

Hello Stampers!  I have a fun Petal Passion card class coming up that I'm super excited about!  We will be making 9 cards in class using the Petal Passion Memories & More card pack!  

The cost of this class is $30 and includes a Petal Passion Memories & More card pack, a spool of Petal Pink ribbon, 1/2 spool of silver baker's twine and 1/2 package rhinestones.  Plus there will be tons of cards from the pack left over to take home and make dozens more cards!
