Hello Stampers!  At our last team meeting our swap theme was techniques!  We could choose any technique that we wanted to make our swaps!  What a fun theme!

Silhouette Vinyl Class

Hello Stampers!  Once or twice a month I love to attend class at my local craft shop and learn new things to do with my Silhouette machine!

This month our class was how to use different types of vinyl.  Here are the fun projects that we made:

So we learned the difference between 631 vinyl, 651 vinyl, and heat transfer vinyl!  Leave me a comment below and let me know if you work with vinyl at all.  I'd love to have someone to swap ideas with!!

Eclectic Expressions birthday card

Hello Stampers!  I had my youngest daughter home for part of last week for Spring Break.  We had a great time together hanging out, eating out, going to the movies, etc.  And as a result you see I totally forgot to post to my blog Saturday and Sunday!  But now we are back to Monday and a new week!  

So welcome to Make a Card Monday!  I wanted to use this last week of Sale-a-bration to showcase a Sale-a-bration stamp set one last time.  I choose the Eclectic Expressions stamp set.

Eclectic Expressions thank you

Hello Stampers!  I recently needed several thank you cards, so I decided to use the new Eclectic Expressions stamp set from the second release of Sale-a-bration items.

Here is the card that I made:

 I decided to use the 2016 - 2018 retiring in colors.  I will certainly miss the Emerald Envy, Dapper Denim, Sweet Sugarplum, and Flirty Flamingo colors.

While I was making these cards, I just decided to make 20 of them!  I don't usually like to make multiples like that, but I know I will need them coming up!

Alaska Achievers Monthly Blog Hop

Hello Stampers!  Welcome to the Alaska Achiever's Blog Hop for the month of March!  Those participating in the hop today are Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all around the world that have achieved the prestigious Stampin' Up! incentive trip that only a limited number around the world achieve. This month's theme is Sale-a-bration and Occasions catalogs products.

Today I thought I would showcase one of the items that came out in the second round of Sale-a-bration rewards.  It is the Springtime Foils Specialty designer series paper.

Happy Make a Card Monday!

Hello Stampers!  It's Make a card Monday!  Today I decided to show you a technique on my video.  This is a technique that I actually showed you a sample of last week.  We will be learning the Baby Wipe plaid technique.

This is such a fun technique!  You could really use any combination of colors!  Leave me a message and let me know what colors you would choose to make your card with!  I'll be holding a drawing tomorrow for one of the background pieces that I made in the video!  You can use it to make a card of your own!  Anyone leaving me a comment will be entered!

 

Hello Stampers!  WOW has it ever been a busy weekend!  I have lots to share with you over the next few days!  Friday my daughter and I took a class at a business called Words on Wood.  We painted on wood pieces.  We both picked signs to make.  Here we are working on our projects!

It was fun and we had a great time!

I had to miss my monthly Silhouette class when we were in Florida, so today when I got home from our team meeting, I completed my Silhouette project!  It turned out so cute!!

Plaid Technique card

Hello Stampers!  I have been busy creating some cards for a swap that I have coming up, and I need your help!  I am doing the plaid technique, which is one of the techniques we will be learning in this month's Technique Club, and I just need to figure out my bow!

I have made three possibilities, leave me a comment below and let me know which bow you like the best!  Then come to class next Tuesday, March 20th and learn this fun technique!

This one uses the 3/8" Mini Chevron ribbon.

This one uses the 1/4" Stitched-edge ribbon.

 This one uses cardstock and the Bow Builder punch.

Hold on to Hope sympathy card

Hello Stampers!  I co-lead a card ministry at my church, and every month we get together to make cards for the church to use as well as for the Ronald McDonald Houses in St. Louis and now for the Fischer House at the Veterans Hospital to use.  My co-leader and I both design 3 - 4 cards for the ladies to work on when they attend our sessions.

We set it up so there are a variety of tasks to be done including cutting, stamping, adhering, coloring, etc.

Here is one of the cards that I designed for this month:

 I love the new Hold on to Hope bundle!  The stamp set is pretty in itself:

 but the framelits make gorgeous crosses!
