Hello Stampers!  Well I finally got around to publishing the video that I made of decorating my September 2017 monthly page spread of my Love Today planner.  I know, I know, September is almost over!  Don't despair, I've already started planning the October monthly page spread and I will record it next week.  In the meantime, here is the picture of the September spread:

Catalog CASE Eastern Beauty

Hello Stampers!  I often see individuals copy the cards that are shown directly from the Stampin' Up! catalog.  What a great form of inspiration!  So, I decided to jump on the bandwagon today!  I decided to CASE the card that I found on page 18 of the annual catalog.  I have had the Eastern Gold Vinyl stickers for months, and I have never used them!  Can you believe it?  Well now I have and they are fabulous.  Such great quality and thick and sturdy!  

Here is the card that I was CASEing:

Now as you can see you don't have to copy a card completely to be CASEing it.  You can interpret it in any way you want!  When I stamped the Fresh Fig circles inside the sticker, I wasn't exactly centered and I stamped some on the sticker.  Well, let me tell you that ink won't dry on the stickers!  So I decided to add one of our Bitty Bows to cover up my woops!  I still love the way it turned out!  

The card base is Tranquil Tide and the designer series paper layer is from the Eastern palace Specialty designer series paper pack.  I used the Eastern Medallions Thinlits dies to cut out the middle of the circle.  The stamp set used is the Eastern Beauty stamp set.

Painted Harvest

Hello Stampers!  I'm going to try a little something new on my blog this week!  I would like to feature a stamp set this week and show you some samples of projects that were made using this stamp set.  Now I won't be showing something new every day, but maybe two or three days this week I will share some stuff!  Let me know if you like this new feature!!

This week I would like to feature the Painted Harvest stamp set in the Holiday catalog.

We received this stamp set on the Thailand incentive trip!  I was excited to get it but had no idea this would be as popular a stamp set as it has become!  I have not only used it a lot on my projects, but I have seen tons of samples using it!  Here is a card that I created for a recent swap I participated in:

The sunflowers were made using Daffodil Delight ink for the background image and Crushed Curry for the detailed image.  The middle circle was stamped in Chocolate Chip ink and the leaves were stamped in Always Artichoke ink.  Notice that the middle circle is not a solid image!  It is meant to look watercolored.

I also used the burlap ribbon and stamped the greeting out with the Pretty Label punch.

Mail a card Monday

Hello Stampers!  I try to mail out cards on a regular basis after all  making cards is what I do for a living, so why shouldn't I be mailing them out!!!  I thought I would show you the cards that I am mailing out this morning!

Kid and Baby cards

Hello Stampers!  I recently had a team meeting and our swap theme for the month was anything baby or kid related!  Here are the cards that I received:

 This is the card that I made.  For this card I used the 2 1/4" circle punch and the 1 3/8" circle punch for the Mickey Mouse head.  The white polka dots are from the 3/4" circle punch.  I adhered everything to the Real Red cardstock and then ran it through the Big Shot using the Cable Knit embossing folder.

Love Today Planner Kit

Hello Stampers!  When the new Stampin' Up! catalog came out in June, I was so excited to see that there was a planner kit in it!  I bought it right away, and I have been playing with it for a few months!  

Today I made a video to show everything you would receive in your planner kit and how to put it together.  I have also decided to start doing a monthly class to decorate your monthly planner pages!

Painted Harvest sympathy cards

Hello Stampers!  I was busy making cards last week for some upcoming classes, and I pulled out the Painted Harvest stamp set.  I had fun trying different colors combinations on the flowers!  

Here are three color combinations that I tried:

The far left one is Wisteria Wonder for the background color and Perfect Plum for the highlights.  The middle card is Blushing Bride for the background color and Calypso Coral for the highlights.  The far right card is Pool Party for the background color and Marina Mist for the highlights.  The leafstamps are Pear Pizzazz and Wild Wasabi.

Which combination do you like the best???  Leave me a comment and let me know!  I'm thinking the purple card is the one I will use for class, unless it us unanimous for another combination!

Happy Birthday Bella & Friends stamp set

Hello Stampers!  Today is my sister-in-laws birthday!  Happy Birthday Shari!  She loves dogs, and I have been wanting to try this card, so I figured this was the perfect opportunity!  Here is what I made:

 I thought it turned out super cute!  I do hope she likes it!  I used the Bella & Friends stamp set for the puppies!  They were colored with the Watercolor Pencils and then gone over with the Blender Pens.  The wood crate that they are in is made from the Wood Crate Framelits and the Wood Textures designer series paper stack.  I just cut one panel and cut the tabs off.  The greeting is from the Better Together stamp set.

I can also see this card being made with the cats from the Pretty Kitty stamp set or the pigs from the This Little Piggy stamp set!
