Hello Stampers!  Do you ever feel like you spend so much time anticipating something, and then it is gone before you know it?  I'm feeling this way about our upcoming Thailand trip!  I can remember setting my countdown app on my phone and it saying like 181 days!  Now, we leave 1 week from today!  

Here are our travel goodies that Stampin' Up! sent us:

 It's all getting real now!  My daughter and I have started a big pile in the living room of things we want to take.  We pile stuff on as we think about it!  See the elephants in the picture above?  Those are our luggage tags!  Super cute!  

I jut want to say again how thankful I am to all of my customers and team members for making this trip possible for us!  Wish we could take you all along with us!

Thoughts & Prayers sympathy card

Hello Stampers!  I have always loved the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set, and I was so glad when it carried over into the catalog again.  This stamp set makes the most beautiful sympathy and get well cards!  And so easy too!

Rondald McDonald House fundraiser

Hello Stampers!  WOW was this a crazy weekend!  Saturday was our Ronald McDonald House fundraiser, and it was a great success!

Here are the cards that they got to make!  Everyone had a great time,  we raised money for Ronald McDonald House Charities, and we completed over 200 cards to be donated to Ronald McDonald Houses in the St. Louis area!  Our next one will be scheduled in either September or October, so be watching for the date!

 

 

 

 

Color Theory Suite card

Hello Stampers!  Have I told you lately what my favorite new product is in the new catalog?  I know, I seem to have LOTS of favorite things, but my new discovery is the Seasonal Layers Thinlits!  The images are super cute, but my favorite is the adirondack chair and the glass of lemonade!  Just look at this super cute card you can make with them!

Cards 4 Faith

Hello Stampers!  Every month I get together with a group of ladies who love to stamp and make cards, and we make cards for my church and for the local Ronald McDonald Houses.  We have a great time and get lots of cards completed every time!  Here is one of the cards that we worked on today:

Me and my co-leader, Julie, design the cards.  Some of the cards we precut the cardstock so it is all ready to stamp and put together.  Some of the cards have nothing done so that some can cut the cardstock.  Everyone who attends has certain tasks that they like to do and we try to accomodate them!  

If you are in the area and would like to join us sometime, we always meet the third Monday of the month!  Come help us out!

Cupcake Shoebox swap

Hello Stampers!   Even though I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I sometimes love to attend events that other demonstrators put on!  I recently attended a Cupcakes & Cards shoebox swap event.  There were 26 of us signed up!  We had to come with 13 completed cards to swap out, and 13 kits for the others to complete.  Then we came home with 26 cards!  We also got to eat yummy cupcakes!  It was a lot of fun!  I'm going to be sharing the cards that I received and made today and tomorrow.

Silhouette Animals

Hello Stampers!  Once a month I go to a Silhouette class to continue learning how to use my machine.  I love it more and more all of the time!  This month we made animals to go on cards, scrapbook page, or decor item.  These animals are the cutest darn things ever!  Check them out!

 Here is an alligator, zebra, and camel.

 Here is a peacock, gorilla, and lion.  Aren't they all the cutest things ever???

Dragonfly Treats

Hello Stampers!  Every month at my crop, I make little table gifts for the attendees.  It is so much fun to try to come up with these goodies!  Well, tomorrow is my crop so I thought I would show you what I made for the attendees!

 Here is a small cluster of dragonflies (did you know that is what you call a group of dragonflies?)

 And here is one upclose.  I wrapped a Hershey nugget with a 1" wide strip of designer series paper from the Fresh Florals designer series paper stack.  I then cut out a dragonfly from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits.  The dragonfly is simply glued down to the candy!  So cute!

It is still a secret to the attendees tomorrow, so don't let them know what they are!  We want them to be surprised!!!

Christmas time already?

Hello Stampers!  Can you believe it is almost Christmas time already?  OK Maybe not quite yet, but I have already started planning for my Christmas in July class!  It will be held on Monday, July 31st.  I'm already taking reservations if you are interested!  

I'm not the only one who is getting in the Christmas spirit!  Take a look at this great display from the latest OnStage event that I attended!

 I love the new Boxwood Wreaths Embellishments in the catalog!  They are so fun to play with!  And did you know that they are not a closed circle?  You can uncurl them and use them in a swag like to over the door in the At Home with You stamp set!

June Card Classes

Hello Stampers!  I'm so excited for my June card classes!  First off, they are my favorite of the classes that I teach, and second they are super cute cards this month!

Hello Stampers!  It's time!  The new catalog is finally here!  I'm so excited to be getting lots of new goodies to play with!

While I'm still playing with my new goodies, I just wanted to show you the other make n' takes that we made at OnStage using fun new stuff!

 This card uses the new Memories & More packs!  We cut out the flower and also stamped on one of the cards for the background.  The ribbon is the new Mini Chevron Crushed Curry ribbon!

 This card uses the Birthday Memories Designer series paper.  I LOVE how we can now cut images out of the designer series paper using framelits!!!
