Valentine's Day candy holder pocket

Hello Stampers!  I have started a Sale-a-bration club for my customers who plan to purchase every month during Sale-a-bration and earn lots of free stuff!  As a thank you, I'm making little goodies for my club members each month.  For January, I made some cute little candy holder pockets for everyone.  Here is what they looked like:

 They are fun and super easy to make!  And they don't require any adhesive!  Watch my video and you can make some too!

Bella's Valentine

Hello Stampers!  Today I decided to make a Valentine's Day card.  I love the Bella & Friends stamp set, so it was the one I pulled out!  Do you want to see what I came up with?  Here it is!

I used the new watercolor pencils to color the dog and bird.  I colored over the top with a blender pen so that it smoothed out the color.  Love this!  I used the Sweetheart punch and punched out of the Sending Love designer series paper stack for the balloon.  The white background has been embossed with the new Falling Petals textured impressions embossing folder.

Top Note die Flashback

Hello Stampers!  Today I decided to do a Flashback Friday post!  I think it is funny to look back at the cards that we used to make several years ago!  This card was from a post back in January of 2009!  My how things have changed over the years!  Click on the card to go to the actual post!

I did a Flashback Friday post on my team Facebook page today too!  I showed one of the cards that I made during my first year as a demonstrator in 2004!  How fun!

February crop

Hello Stampers!  Did you know that I hold a one day crop every month?  It is a fabulous time to come and work on your crafting projects!  Some come to scrapbook, while others come to make cards, complete Paper Pumpkin kits, make jewelry, etc!  It is a fabulous day with no interruptions!

Happy Birthday to You!

Hello Stampers!  Some of you may know that I started an I'm Bringing Birthdays Back campaign last year.  Actually one of the Stampin' Up! employees started this, but I thought it was a great idea and I jumped on board, to a much smaller extent!  I sent handmade birthday cards to friends and customers that I had birthdays for.  I really loved doing it and have decided that I'm going to do it to a much bigger extent this year!  

However, I need your help!  All you have to do is let me know when your birthday is!  That's right!  I want to send you a birthday card this year!  Even if you think I already know when your birthday is, tell me again and  I will double check that you are on my list and that I have the right date!  You can either comment on this post or e-mail me at [email protected]

I'm excited about this and I hope you jump on board with me!  I'm going to need a lot of birthday cards, and so will you, so I'm going to start holding monthly birthday stamp-a-stacks!  In this class we will be making 8 cards, two each of four designs.  The cost of the class is $15 or free with a $25 purchase.  Our first class will be:

January card & technique class

Hello Stampers!  I'm so excited that the new Occasions catalog is here!  My wish list is a mile long!  And I'm so lucky that this is Sale-a-Bration so that I can earn FREE product while I'm purchasing everything on my wish list!

I used new products on the cards in this month's Card & Technique class.  Here are the cards that we will be making this month:

 Let's look at each one of them individually and what I used on each of them.

 This card uses the Delicate Details stamp set which you can get for FREE during Sale-a-Bration when you make a $50 purchase!  The Happy Birthday is the Styllized Birthday stamp in the annual catalog.  

 On this card we will use the Oh So Succulent stamp set.  I love this flower from the set!  It is a two step stamp set.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  The embossed background is using the Petal Burst embossing folder.

 On this card we will be using the Pretty Kitty stamp set.  In this picture the image isn't colored, but we will be using the Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens to color in the image!  I'm so excited that the watercolor pencils came back!  And now they are in our Stampin' Up! colors!

 Finally we will be doing a Valentine's Day card!  This card uses the Sealed with Love stamp set and the coordinating Love Notes Framelits.  We will also be using the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack. My favorite part of this card is the heart border that is cut from the card!

Throw back calendar

Hello Stampers!  I hope that you all have had a wonderful Holiday season!  I took a few weeks off to enjoy with my daughter who was home from college. I really did enjoy her!  After she went back to school I got sick and now I'm finally back at it!  I wanted to share with you today the calendar that my daughters made me for Christmas.  

I have always loved seeing pictures that people have recreated years after they were actually taken.  Last summer I tried to get my girls to do this many times, but they were always too busy!  I was so upset with them at the end of summer that they had never taken a single throw back picture.  

Little did I know, they had a plan!  When my youngest came home over Thanksgiving break, they started taking pictures!  They finished them off over Christmas break, and this is what they created:

When they gave me this, of course I cried!  I couldn't believe the attention to detail!  If they had a tank top on in the first picture, they got them in the second!  They even dug their American Girl dolls out of storage!  My husband played the photographer and helped stage them, except of course for the picture that he had to get in, and my mother took that one!  

It's so nice when your family can surprise you and you know that they truly do love you!
