Upcoming Christmas card class

Hello Stampers!  I'm really getting in the mood for Christmas!  I have been working hard on getting things prepped for my upcoming Christmas card classes, and I have my first craft fair of the season this weekend!  If you happen to be in the South County area, we are at the Arrowhead subdivision clubhouse Friday from 3 - 8 and Saturday 8 - 3!  Come see some of the goodies I have made for this year!

If you can't make it, then maybe you can make it to my next Christmas card class!

Goodie bag and Service project card

Hello Stampers!  Just a couple more pictures from my weekend event that I attended last weekend!

 This is the Baker's Twine Trio Pack form the Holiday catalog.  Isn't it amazing what some cute packaging can do to a gift?

 We also had a service project where we made a card to send to the troops for them to then use and send back home.  We used the Vintage Leaves stamp set from the Annual Catalog.  Love this stamp set!  Thanks for stopping by!

Make n' takes

Hello Stampers!  Alright!  It is time to get serious with this blog thing again!  I have been jumping around and only posting sporadically, so now things need to change!  However, I need your help!  I'm going to do my best to post on weekdays, but if I miss a day or two, you need to nudge me and remind me that I'm not being consistent!  Can you do that for me?  Great!  

I hope that you all have seen by now that I did meet my goal for this Stampin' Up! year!  Thanks to all of my loyal customers and team members, I earned the Thailand trip!  I'm so excited and it is going to be a really long 10 months waiting for our adventure!  My husband does not want to go with me, you know 6' 5" and an airplane for 20 hours is not a great combination!!!  So I am taking my youngest daughter Amie with me!  She is super excited!  Thank you to everyone who helped me make my goal possible!

Over the weekend I attended a fun stamping event put on by another demonstrator in my area.  We had demonstrations, make n' takes, and of course swapping!  I will share it all with you over the next few days!  Today I will show you the make n' takes that we made!  Super cute projects!

 This is a super cute candy holder.  So easy to make too!  I will be working on a video on making these!  Be watching!!!

  Isn't this a pretty card?  The Petals & Paisley suite in the Holiday is great!  Makes great fall or any occasion cards!  

 I just love this Detailed Santa thinlit!  So easy to use and a real WOW!  We will be making a card very simiar to this in my next Christmas card class on Thursday, October 6, at both 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.!

 This card uses the Frosted Medallions stamp set from the Holiday catalog.  We embossed the snowflake with white embossing powder.  Make it pop!

September technique class

Hello Stampers!  I wanted to share with you the cards that we will be making at this month's technique class.

Can you see the balloons on the birthday card?  They are puffed out and rounded like a real balloon!   The center of the pink card has been cut out and filled in with washi tape!  They are both really cool techniques that we will be learning!  Here is the details:

Christmas Stamp-a-stack

Hello Stampers!  I hope that you had a great weekend!  I had a great day on Saturday with some of my team members!  We hosted a Christmas Stamp-a-stack.  We each created some cards and invited all of our customers.  There were 26 people who signed up!  Too fun!  Here are the cards that we made:

I made these treat bags for everyone who signed up.

We had yummy Christmas cookies and listened to Christmas music!

This was Colleen's first time stamping!  Great card!

This was Sherri's first time stamping too!

Sharon was our third newbie stamper who made some fantastic cards!
