Curvy Keepsake Boxes

Hello Stampers!  Welcome to my Curvy Keepsake Box Week!  Every day this week I'm going to share with you 2 or 3 Curvy Keepsake Box animals that I made for my last retreat.  I used these to decorate the tables!  Everyone seemed to like them and they are super easy to make!  Here are today's boxes:

 Isn't she cute?  See the antenna?  They are the cherry from the Cupcake Builder punch!  How fun is that???

 Love this little Panda and her heart nose!  See the patch around the eyes?  That is the wing from the Bird Builder Punch!  Clever!

Hello Stampers!  A few month's ago, I started a card ministry community at my church.  I lead a monthly get together where we make cards for the church staff and other community leaders to use.  It is fun designing the cards every month for the members to make.  I have a helper, Julie, who helps design and prep.  I thought it would be fun to show you some of the cards that we have designed and made so far.  We have actually made hundreds of cards!  I will show you some today, and come back tomorrow to see some more!

Challenge cards

Hello Stampers!  Every month we hold a template and a color challenge on my team Facebook page.  Today I thought I would share my entries for this last month.

 This is my color challenge card.  We were to make a card using Rose Red, Wild Wasabi, and White.  I decided to throw in a couple more colors to make my flowers stand out more!  

 This is my design challenge.  The layout had a large circle in the bottom right corner and a banner in the top left.  I love this new Sale-a-bration stamp set!  It is a three step stamp set!

Happy mail!

Hello Stampers!  Don't you just love it when you get a card in the mail for no reason?  Everybody loves happy mail!  I recently was put on a card ladder.  What is that you say?  A card ladder is where people sign up to send the next person on the list a card.  When the list is complete, the last person sends the first person on the list a card.  They are fun, as long as everybody follows through!  

So I say this, and guess who forgot this time!  And the only way I was reminded about it, is because the person who had my name forgot too!  I received this beautiful card in the mail yesterday with an apology, and quickly got my card out too!  Oh well, better late than never right! 

So, here is the card that I received:

I think the card ladders are such a great idea!  In fact, perhaps I will start one with my customers!  Let me know if you are interested in being a part of my card ladder in the future!

Valentine's Day gifts

Hello Stampers!  I hope that you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day yesterday!  My hubby always gets me Merb's chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine's Day!  Love them!  We also go out to dinner, but we wait until the week after to avoid the crowds.  I'm not a crowd person!  So, our dinner is still coming.  

I of course had to make him a card too, so this is what I came up with:

I also made up a little gift for him, thank you to my good friend Alene who gave me the idea!

 It's a little tackle box filled with his favorite candies along with Swedish Fish and gummy worms!  Of course my husband commented that it is just wrong to put fish inside your tackle box!  Oh well, it turned our really cute!

February Scrapbook class

Hello Stampers!  Have you seen the marble looking designer series paper in the Sale-a-bration brochure?  I LOVE it!  It makes great cards and scrapbook pages!  The brochure really doesn't do it justice, so maybe this scrapbook page will help you see how great it is!

 In this class, you will be recreating this spread.  You don't need to bring any pictures, you can add them later.  Here is the date and time of this class.

February card class

Hello Stampers!  I am so excited for my card classes this month!  We will be focusing a lot on the Sale-a-bration and Occasions new products.  I'll also be showing you how to do the Herringbone technique!  Too fun!  Here are some close-ups of the cards:

 This card uses the Botanicals For You stamp set in the Sale-a-bration brochure.  Just think, when you place a $50 order you can get this stamp set for FREE!  Sweet!  The embossing folder is the new Confetti embossing folder in the Occasions catalog.  

 This card uses the Birthday Blooms stamp set in the Occasions catalog.  The Herringbone technique is done using the Love Blossoms designer series paper stack that is also in the Occasions catalog.

 This fun card is my favorite!  We will be using the new Party Pop-Up Thinlits Dies in the Occasions catalog.  The inside has a pop-up that says Hip Hip Horray!  Too cute!  The designer series paper is from the new 12 X 12 paper stack called It's My Party Stack in the Occasions catalog.  I love that Stampin' Up! has created a big paper stack of 12 X 12 papers.
