Hello Stampers! I realized that I never shared with you the spectacular project that we made at our February team meeting. This one was our longer quarterly meetings where we will do either a shoebox swap or bigger project. This month, one of my teammates, Lynn, taught us how to do a Designer Series Paper Canvas! We were all so excited for it that we could hardly wait for the meeting date to arrive!!!
Here is my finished canvas:
The background is a piece of designer series paper from the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper pack. It was mod podged onto a 12 X 12 canvas. We punched out flowers of different sizes and stacked several on top of each other to make the 3D flowers. Once the flowers were punched, we spritzed them and then crinkled them all up real good. Then we laid them back out and let them dry.
We also added butterflies that were punched out. We used both the Elegant Butterfly and the Bitty Butterfly punches. There are pearls in the middle of the flowers and on the butterflies. So pretty! This picture just doesn't do it justice!
Let me know if you would like some more information about how to make one of these!
