Stamping event

Hello Stampers!  Earlier this month I was able to attend a special stamping event for Stampin' Up! demonstrators.  It was a full day event and it was a lot of fun!  There were freebies, make n' takes, display boards, demonstrations, and a service project!  Here are some pictures:

 This is all of my goodies that I came home with!  The berry basket was full of samples from the Occasions catalog, including ribbon, buttons, designer series paper samples, bakers twine, and of course some chocolate!  The curvy keepsake box is a gift I received from another demonstrator.  The heart below it is my nametag!  Super cute with the Bow Builder punch!

The two tags on the left side were demonstration examples that I made showing the Bokah technique and using the new chalkboard ink.

Finally, in front are the make n' takes from the day.  Here they are up close:

   This butterfly was cut out of the Irresistably Yours designer series paper that we colored with sponge daubers and a stamp pad.

 This card used the Love is Kindness stamp, which we received at the event.  The beautiful tulips were colored with Blendabilities.

 This fun card uses the Cheerful Critters stamp set, one of my favorites!  To get the bunny's pink outfit, we simply stamped the stamp on pink cardstock and cut out the dress part only.

 This fun step card was made using the Painted Petals stamp set and the Painted Blooms designer series paper.  Such a fun card!

 This is the gift card holder that we made using the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits die which was carried over from the Holiday catalog.

 Love the idea of putting some designer series paper inside!!!

 This is the gift bag card we made using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits die.  I was going to hold out and not purchase this die, but finally broke down and ordered it!  It's on it's way now and I can't wait to get it and start playing!  Be watching for some creations!

B-I-N-G-O!

Hello Stampers!  This last Tuesday evening I held a new class.  It was a BINGO class and we had such a great time!  There were 7 ladies there.  We played three games of BINGO, stamped two cards, and played three more games.  The best part was, all of the prizes were Stampin' Up! products!  And the winner of the final game, the coverall, won a $60 Stampin' Up! gift certificate!  What a great deal!

Would you like to see the cards that we made?

 For this card we used the Beach House washi tape.  You need to start with the strip across the bottom.  Then alternate the upwards line and sidewise lines, alternating colors.  Super easy!

 Isn't this card great?  I loved this card the first moment I saw it!  This card was on display at a stamping event I attended earlier this month.  I knew right away that I would be CASEing this card at one of my events!  For this card we used the Kinda Eclectic stamp set and the Crazy about You and Hello You thinlits bundle in the Occasions catalog.

Weekly Deals and Valentine's Day cards

Hello Stampers!  I hope that you all had a fantastic Valentine's Day!  I wanted to share with you the Valentine's cards that I made for all of my Valentine's and also this week's Stampin' Up! Weekly Deals!

First, the Valentine's!

 This was the card that I made for my daughter, Amie.  Her favorite color is blue, and she doesn't like foo foo or fancy!  For the background, this is the back side of the Happy Hearts embossing folder.  Then I sponged on some color afterwards to make it stand out!

 This is the card that I made for my daughter, Casie.  She loves lots of color! 

 Finally, the card I made for my sweetheart!  Can you tell I love the hearts embossing folder that is in the Occasions catalog!!!  I also love the Hello Life stamp set!

Leadership Recap Day 3

Hello Stampers!  Time for Day 3 of Leadership recap!

The day started off with an incredible Keynote Speaker, Jason Wright!  He was great and he even made us cry!  He also showed us a stamping project!

 Isn't this owl super cute?  He actually went to a stamp camp in her area and made the projects!

After the speaker, we had some breakout classes about different business topics.  Such great and helpful information. During lunch we had time to check out all of the display boards.  Here are some pictures of some of my favorites.

 

Finally, to close out the day, we had another general session with yet more Stamping Presentations. 

 This was one of my favorite cards!  I love the Cheerful Critters stamp set in the Occasions catalog!

Leadership Recap Day 2

Hello Stampers!  Time to recap the second day of Leadership.  We started off the day with another general session. 

 It was time for the walk for promotions.  My downline that went with me, Karen, got to walk across the stage for promoting to Senior Supervisor!

 We also had some stamping presentations again!  Loved all of the Valentine projects!

We had some free time before lunch so my roomies and I went to participate in this year's Service Project.

We had a great Share Fair and Demonstrator Theater in the afternoon.  I love these times the best because we actually get to hear from other demonstrators about things they do in their papercrafting business!

In the evening, we went back to the Convention center to have a Stampin' Night out!  It was several stamping demonstrations by Stampin' Up! staff.  It was great fun!

Leadership Recap Day 1

Hello Stampers!  It's time to share with you all of the wonderful events that happened while at Leadership this year!

On Day 1 we got up early and headed over to the Convention center.  The entire morning was spent telling us about all of the upcoming changes that Stampin' Up! is going to be going through.  They spent lots of time explaining just to make sure that we as demonstrators understand it all.  And didn't Shelli look so cute?

 If I were to try to wear an outfit like that my girls would say "Mom you look like you are trying to be 16 again!"  Only Shelli can pull it off!

We finally had some stamping presentations at the end of the day.  Here are some of my favorite projects they showed us.

That evening was our Manager's Reception.  They rented out part of Disney's Hollywood Studios just for us!  We started by watching the show Fantasmic!

 It was a super show! 

 Then we had a Disney dessert buffet with tons of yummy goodies!  There was also a hot chocolate bar, which was good because the evening was a little chilly! 

We also could ride the Tower of Terror and Rock N' Roller Coaster for as many times as we wanted!  No lines!  It was once again a fantastic evening!  I love how Stampin' Up! spoils us!

February scrapbook and kid's class

Hello Stampers!  Today I wanted to show you what the scrapbook page looks like that we will be making this month, and also one of the cards that we will be making in the February kid's class.

 This is the scrapbook page.  I love the Stacked With Love designer series paper stack on this page!  You will get to pick your design for the rectangle pieces as well as the hearts for the banner!

Queens of the Quarter paper flowers

Hello Stampers! While I'm busy playing in Orlando with my daughter, I thought I would share with you the paper flowers that I made for my recent Queens of the Quarter on my team.  What is that you ask?  Well every quarter I like to recognize my team members for their sales, recruiting, and promoting.  I make them paper flowers of some type.  I have made several different types and sizes over the past years. 

Sometimes I have to admit that it gets difficult trying to come up with different flowers to make!  This time, I pulled out a retired Big Shot die to help me.  Here is what I came up with:

 Aren't they fun?  I think the die is called Daisy.  Sometimes I put pin backs on them, but this time I decided to add something different!

 I attached one of our In-Color Clothespins to the back of them!  That way they can clip it anywhere they want!  They seemed to like the!

If you have any great instructions for some paper flowers, let me know!  I'd love to have some new ideas!
