Mixed Bunch birthday card

Hello Stampers!  I recently had a workshop for Anne, Teresa, and Lauren.  It was such a hoot!  There was tons of food and I think a good time was had by all!  We made three cards, one of which is shown below.  I found a similar card online and I loved it!    I loved the colors and the layering of the flowers.

 The colors on this card are Marina Mist and Soft Suede.  This card uses the Beautifully Baroque embossing folder for the background.  It's so beautiful!  Remember that you can use these embossing folders in both the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine and the Texture Boutique!

The flower sets that we used were Mixed Bunch and Petite Petals.  And don't you love it that both stamp sets have coordinating punches?

Team meeting show n' tell

 This one isn't Stampin' Up! related, but so glad that Debbie brought it in to share!  She made this out of mason jar lids!

Christmas card class

Hello Stampers!  Have you started making your Christmas cards yet?  I am holding a Christmas card class every month to help you get a jump start on your card making!  Do you want to see this month's cards?  Here they are:

 I LOVE this month's cards! 

The stepped up card this month is the snowflake card in the top left.  For this card we are using the Snowflake Card Thinlits die.  Be sure and use your waxed paper when you use this die for the snowflakes and words so that they pop out easily without tearing!

This month's Christmas card class will be Saturday, October 25th.  It will be at 10:00 a.m. at the Hobby Lobby in Arnold.  This class is $15 or free with a minimum order.

Monthly card class

Hello Stampers!  I wanted to show you the cards that we are making in this month's card class.

 The card at the top right uses the new Seasonally Scattered stamp set.  I just love that stamp set!

The bottom right card uses the Wondrous Wreath stamp set.    That set is great for all seasons and holidays!

Finally, the card on the left uses the new For All Things stamp set from the Holiday catalog. 

My remaining card class this month will be on Friday, October 24th.  We will be at the First Baptist Church in Arnold and the cost is $10 or free with a minimum purchase.

Birthday cards

Hello Stampers!  OMG!  It seems like I simply blink my eyes and a week has flown by!  I was so busy last weekend with my first craft fair of the season, and since I sold stuff I have been frantically making more since I have another craft fair this weekend!

Mismatched Elegant butterflies!

Hello Stampers!  I wanted to show you a card that I made using some scraps from another project.

 The butterflies have been punched out of the Sweet Taffy designer series paper using the Elegant butterfly punch.  They were cut in half and two mismatched butterflies were put together to make a whole!

The strip down the left side was made using the Delicate Designs embossing folders.  The greeting was stamped from the Good Greetings stamp set.  This stamp set is the special promotion this month!
