September sampler

Hello Stampers!  I can't believe that tomorrow is September already!  Where did the summer go?  Today I want to share with you the September sampler that we put together as a swap at our team meeting.

 The way we have always done this swap, is everybody comes up with a 2" X 2" design and makes enough of them for everyone in the swap to have one.  Then we all come home with several different squares to make our sampler!  These have been really fun to make, and we have been doing this swap for over a year. 

We have decided to stop this swap though and start some other types of swaps, so keep coming back to look for posts showcasing the different swaps my team will be doing!

Hello Stampers!  Today I was cleaning off my camera, and I came across the picture of a door prize that one of my team members made for our team meeting a couple of months ago.  I just love it!

 Sorry, but I can't seem to remember which one of my talented team members made it!  To make one of these, it is just our Stampin' Up! buttons hot glued to a styrofoam cone.  I love the three little flags in the top with our tag line!

Holiday Catalog cards

Hello Stampers!  I had a special class this last weekend where I showcased new products from the upcoming Holiday catalog!  Want to see the cards we made???

The card in the top left was made using the new For All Things stamp set and the beautiful Color Me Autumn designer series paper.

The card in the top right was made using the new Bright & Beautiful stamp set and the Stars Framelits.  Remember that this is a bundle special now through the end of this month!  You get 15% off as a bundle!

The card in the bottom right was made using the Christmas Bauble stamp.  It makes beautiful cards!  We embossed it in gold!

Show n' tell and Door prizes

Hello Stampers!  Yesterday was our team meeting so I wanted to share with you some of the show n' tell items that the gals brought to share and the door prize that was given away.

This month we had our extended Quarterly Stamping Day, so that means we meet at someone's house.  This month we were at Karen's place.  I just love these days because it is more laid back than our usual meetings in that we spend more time together talking and sharing.  We all bring appetizers to share for our lunch.

Here are some of the show n' tell items that the gals brought this month:

 I love this baseball card!  It is made using the Circle Card Thinlit.  Love how it is made into a baseball!  Super cute!  I believe Pat made this card.

 

 This cute card was made using the Endless Wishes stamp set.  This set came out in photopolymer late last year and immediately sold out.  Now it will come back in the Holiday catalog!  I'm so excited!!!

 This is a super cute little basket.  I don't know who made this, but it is super cute!  See the little window in the front that is covered with a window sheet?  So fun!

 Finally, this was the door prize for this month!  Karen made this super cute cork board!  I love the banner across the top with the Little Letters thinlit letters on the tags and all of the flowers on the bottom made using the Flower Shop stamp set and the Pansy punch.

Kid's Class

Hello Stampers!  I have been busy today with my scrapbook class and kid's class.  I hold my kid's class once a month at a local church.  I love holding these classes!  The kids are so fun!  Today I had 6 girls in my class!  Here are the projects that we made:

 I just love the colors in this card,
Pool Party and Daffodil Delight!  They got to choose which flower they wanted from the Flower Shop stamp set.  The kid's really like to use washi tape on their cards, and this tape was from the Beach House pack.

 This fun birthday card that they made could be cusotmized!  They got to choose which pattern and which colors from the In Color Paper Stack they wanted to use.  The stamp set that we used was Big News.

 This little dress box was fun too!  The kids got to choose which color they wanted to make their box, whether they wanted the dress sleeveless or short sleeved, and which embossing folder they wanted to decorate their dress.  They could add pearls and rhinestones to their boxes too.  It was really fun to see all of the creations that the girls made!

Swap cards

Hello Stampers!  I spent some time today going through my pictures from Convention!  It is so much fun to go back through all of my pictures and get re-energized and excited all over again!  I just love Convention!

Today I decided to share with you some pictures of some of the swaps that my team received.

 

Every year at Convention, my team will sit down together on one of the last two evenings, and we will take pictures of each others swaps.  It is just a great way to get even more ideas for projects than with all of our own swap cards. 

We try to be sure that when we are swapping, we spread out so that we don't all end up with the same cards.  This is such a great way to get inspiration!

Monthly Card Class

Wedding car gift card holder

Hello Stampers!  Do you remember the wedding I was talking back back in May?  It was a really good friend of mine's daughter.  I wanted to make her some super cute gifts because she is crafty also, and I knew that she would appreciate all of the time and energy put into her gifts!  I have to show you this super cute Wedding gift card holder that I recently made!  It is a convertible wedding car!  Super cute!

 This is a picture of the side of the car.

 This is the front of the car.

 This is the back of the car with the cans hanging off!  If you pull open the trunk holding on to the trailer hitch, it opens up and the gift card fits snuggly inside!  The cans were made using our silver foil paper.  Perfect!

 This is the inside of the car!  Don't you just love it!!! 

I made the car in the wedding colors which were yellow and gray.  I got the tutorial for this from Lorri's site!  I can't wait for another wedding to come up so that I can make another one of these fun projects!  It did take me quite awhile to do, but Lorri's directions were very clear and easy to follow!
