June team meeting show n' tell

Hello Stampers!  As I was posting the pictures from my recent team meeting, I realized that I hadn't ever posted pictures from the June meeting!  So here are some samples of projects that my team has been working on from the June meeting:

 This is one of those fun cards where the middle circles are attached with either bakers twine or dental floss.  You spin the circle around several times before putting it in the envelope.  Then, when the recipient takes it out of the envelope and opens the card, it spins around!  Too fun!

 I love the gold sparkels on this card!

July team meeting show n' tells

Hello Stampers!  Sunday was our July team meeting.  At every meeting, everyone is encouraged to bring with them some projects that they have been working on.  Everyone loves to see what everybody else is up to, and it gives us some great ideas!  Here are some of this month's projects:

   This is a super cute little washcloth cupcake that Laura made as a wedding shower gift!  Super cute!

 This is a fun card that Lisa made.  She used the Work of Art stamp set.  Have I mentioned before how much I love this stamp set???  I think I'm going to have to CASE this card!

 This is a fun card that Karen made using the Word Bubble Framelits.  I think I'm going to have to CASE this card too! 

Laura brought a scrapbook album that she has been working on using some of the Project Life products!  I thought I had taken a photo of it, but I guess I didn't.  I'm definitely going to have to give this a try!

Everyone who attended Convention brought their swap cards!  We had hundreds of cards there for everybody to look at, take pictures of, and get inspired by!  We hold these meetings in a local restaurant, and some of the employees were coming back to look at some of our samples!  What better way to get the word out about what we do and love!!

More Roomie gifts

 This was a really cute little box that Laura made.

 These are the items that I gave to each of my team members!  My daughter, Casie, works at a pottery painting store.  I picked out these vases, told them the saying I wanted on them, and they painted them for me!  The back side has the Stampin' Up! logo on it.  The hearts with our names on them are pins that Casie painted for each of my team to add on their lanyards.

Roomie Gifts

Hello Stampers!  Every year at Convention, my team gets together and exchanges little gifts!  We really have a great time making the gifts and then exchanging them!  So here are this years gifts:

  First off, this was a gift from my upline, Jeri.  This is a picture of my dear friend Sue and me at a Stampin' Up! event.  Sue and I attended several events together before she passed away last year.  I miss her dearly, especially at Stampin' Up! events!

 This is a Convention kit that Pat made for all of us.

Convention goodies!

Hello Stampers!  I was so excited to get home from Stampin' Up!'s annual Convention and share tons of stuff with you!  I got home on Monday, not feeling great, and have been sick all week!  I finally went to the doctor today, and I have a bacterial infection!  Oh joy!  I have some antibiotics though and hopefully will start feeling better soon.  I am camping out on my couch this afternoon, trying to rest up for my class tonight. 

First I want to share with you some of the great displays that Stampin' Up! had for us.  I love the way they display our products!

 This display shows off all of our new Blendability markers!  Love them!  We will be using them in my August card class!

 This is a huge gorgeous flower made from some of our designer series paper!

I also wanted to show our Convention bag.  Every year we receive some sort of bag.  Here is this years:

 It is the perfect size for a small travel purse, yet big enough to hold my tablet!  So cute!

Stampin' Up! Convention!

Hello Stampers!   sorry for my long absence again.  I have been at the Stampin' Up! Convention for the last several days.  I have so many fun projects to share with you, so be watching for future posts. 

This was my 10th year atconvention and finally this year we decided to stay an extra day and tour the town!  Salt Lake City is beautiful! 

I will be traveling tomorrow so I will share more later!

Monthly card class

Hello Stampers!  Time to show you the cards that we will be making in this month's card classes!

As you can see, we will be making a get well card, sympathy card, and a birthday card.  All supplies will be provided except for adhesive.  Envelopes will also be provided.  Here are the dates of my upcoming classes:

Monday, July 14th  10:00 a.m.  (my house)

Friday, July 25th  6:30 p.m.  (First Baptist Church - Arnold)

Soccer birthday card

Hello Stampers!  I hope that you all had a fabulous 4th of July!  We had several great days to play, eat, and get together with family and friends!

Today  I wanted to show you the birthday card that I made for my daughter's boyfriend.  His birthday is the week before hers, so it was fairly recently.  He loves to watch the World Cup, so I thought a soccer card would be appropriate! 

Here is what I came up with:

 Thanks to the Honeycomb embossing folder, this card was pretty easy to make!  I just ran my white cardstock through the Big Shot using the folder, and then repeated with the black cardstock.  Then I used the embossed lines to cut out the black hexagons and simply adhere them to the white cardstock!  That's it!  Super cute! 

I have made these same type of cards before and cut the cardstock into a circle so that it was actually in the shape of a soccer ball too!

So, if you have any soccer lovers on your card list, you have got to try this technique out!  It is super easy and super fun!

Wedding gifts

Hello Stampers!  Remember a few days ago, I was telling you about the wedding that I went to of a friend of mine's daughter?  Well, I want to show you some of the gifts that I made for her!

 This is an ornament that I made using their wedding invitation!  I simply cut the invitation into strips, curled them using my bone folder, and then put them into a clear glass ornament.  Then I simply tied a piece of daffodil delight ribbon around the top!  Super cute and what a great keepsake!

 This is a frame that I made in My Digital Studio using the Meant To Be downloads.  It was super easy to use and there are several wedding downloads available.  I printed it out in black ink on a Crumb Cake piece of cardstock.

Hello Stampers!  Are you ready to see some more Patriotic swap cards from my recent swap with my team?  Well, here you go:

 This fun card was made by Julie.  I LOVE the way she took the flower image from the Too Kind stamp set, turned it upside down, and stamped it to make fireworks!  Cute idea Julie!

 This card was made by Lynn.  Just another great showing of what the Work of Art stamp set can do!  Yes, she colored the stamp every time with a marker, huffed, then stamped, then did it all over again!  Good thing we didn't have a huge number of swappers this month!

 This was my swap card.  I used the Petite Pennants Builder punch for the star, and the Large Oval punch for the tail of the star. 

Hope these cards have given you some great ideas when you want to make some Patriotic cards in the future!
