Swap cards

Hello Stampers!  I have some more cards to show you that I received as swaps at the Spring Into Stamping event that I attend early in April.

 Isn't this card pretty?  I love all of the colors!  It uses the retiring Polka Dot Parade designer series paper (126902).  The stamp has been stamped on the designer series paper and then cut out and adhered to the front of the vases.  Very fun technique!

 This card uses the Off the Grid (130736) stamp set retiring) and the Million & One stamp (w-126375 c-126377) which is not retiring.  Love purples and greens together on a card.

 I love this card!  The colors are so pretty together.  The bottom of this card is the window sheet from the Quatrefancy Specialty designer series paper pack (130141).  The flowers are all punched from the Blossom punch (125603), Pansy punch (130698), and Petite Petals punch (133322).

 This card was made by Robin Johnson.  These colors are so elegant together!  The stamp set used is Happy Watercolor (w-133188 c-133191) from the Occasions catalog.  I sure hope this stamp set makes it into the upcoming catalog!

Spring cards

Hello Stampers!  I'm so glad that we can finally say Spring is here!  It was such a long, harsh winter, I was beginning to think it would never come!

I'm am so excited for this evening!  Stampin' Up! is holding a Catalog Premiere event to release the new catalog!  They are holding the event live in California, and then showing it on IMAX screens across the country.  And guess what?  They are coming to St. Louis!  I'm so excited!  So several members of my team and I are heading to the IMAX theater tonight to view the Catalog Premiere event!  I can't wait to tell you all about it tomorrow!

Today, however, I wanted to share some cards with you from a recent swap my team did.  Our theme was simply Spring cards.

 Sorry, but there wasn't a name on this one, and I can't remember who made it.  But I love this stamp set, Too Kind (w-130447 c-130450) and the colors!  And best of all, it's not retiring yet!!!

   This pretty card was made by Lisa.  Love the background stamp, Hardwood (w-133032 c-133035) that is in the Occasions catalog!

 This pretty card was made by Debbie.  I love the way she used the Blossom punch (125603) to punch through the card front!  And don't you love the way the three flower punches coordinate so great together?

 Finally, this is the card that I made.  I CASE'd it from a swap that I received at Leadership!  I'm so going to miss that Ruffle Stretch Trim when it retires!!!

Happy Easter!

Hello Stampers!  Happy Easter!  I hope that you have all had a fun day with family and friends!  We have!  We started the day going to church, and then we came home and decorated 200 cake pops!  Why you ask?  My youngest daughter Amie, loves to bake, and she often gets orders from people for her products!  This latest one, was the biggest by far!  She was asked to make 200 cake pops for a volunteer luncheon!  The best part was that they wanted them to look like the earth!  Come back tomorrow and see how they turned out!

 

Today I wanted to show you an Easter card that we made in my kid's class this month.

 

 The girl's had fun making these.

 Here is what the inside of the card looks like.  The cute stamp set that I used is Eggstra Spectacular (w-133068 c-133071).  And of course the little pom pom for the bunny tail makes the whole card!!

Hello Stampers!  Man what a busy weekend this has been!  I had another craft fair all weekend at the YMCA.  It was fun because my daughter has started crafting and bringing her items to sell at the craft fair too, so I have some great company for the weekend!  Plus it is great to see the look on her face when she sells items!  Yes, the crafting bug has hit her hard too!

Spring Wreath class

Hello Stampers!  Later this month I'm going to be holding a Spring Wreath Class!  We will be making the Burlap and Blooms Simply Created Wreath kit (133333) out of the Occasions catalog.

And this is what your completed wreath will look like:

The cost of this class is $21.  I will show you how to make all of the flowers and how to attatch them to your wreath.  The kit comes with a chipboard, flat circle wreath.  You can use it or bring a 10" styrofoam wreath to use instead.  You will need to bring a glue gun and glue sticks.

April Scrapbook Class

Hello Stampers!  Today I wanted to show you the scrapbook pages that we will be making at this month's Scrapbook Class.

Here are the dates and times of this month's classes:

Thursday, April 17th 1:00 p.m.  (First Baptist Church - Arnold)

Saturday, April 26th 10:00 a.m.  (Hobby Lobby - Arnold)

The cost of this class is $10 and includes everything needed except adhesive.

Please let me know if you are able to attend either class!  Can't attend, but want a kit?  No problem!  The kits are the same price as the class!

Spring basket

Hello Stampers!  Today I have another fun project to show you!  Are you all as ready for Spring as I am?  I wanted to show you a beautiful Spring basket that one of my downline made. 

  Isn't this fun?  One of my downline made this and brought it to one of our team meetings.  I thought it was beautiful and made me think of Spring!  She used the Blossom punch (125603) and the Elegant Butterfly punch (127526). 

This would make a super cute Easter basket also!  Try your hand at these bakets and then let me know how you did!
