Holiday Creative Escape

Hello Stampers!  Today I wanted to give you the details for our upcoming Holiday Creative Escape!  I'm so excited for it!  It will be held on Saturday, September 28thth from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church on Telegraph road.

The cost for the escape is $25, which will include $20 worth of Stampin' Up! product, and all supplies needed to make four holiday cards.

20% of the cost of all supplies, and all profits, will be donated to the American Cancer Society.  Come for a fun day of crafting and help out a great cause!

Please feel free to bring any projects you are working on!  It doesn't matter if you stamp, scrapbook, knit, crochet, or quilt, bring it along!

There will be four additional classes that you can register for:

Stamp-a-stack:  In this class we will be making four Christmas cards.  The cost of this class is $15 with approximately $10 of this going to the American Cancer Society.  Everything you need will be included, including envelopes.

Snowman Art:  In this class we will be making a framed snowman picture.  The cost of this class is $10 and everything you need will be included, including the frame!  Approximately $5 of this cost will go to the American Cancer Society.

 

Holiday Wreath: In this class we will be making a gorgeous holiday wreath.  The cost of this class is $25 and approximately $7 of this will go to the American Cancer Society.

Joy Banner:  In this class we will be making a Joy banner.  The cost of this class is $15, $5 of which will go to the American Cancer Society.

There will be raffles, attendance prizes, and games also! 

You can purchase lunch for $8, which will include a sub sandwich of your choice (ham, turkey, or roast beef), chips, water bottle, and a piece of cake.

The registration deadline is Friday, September 13th!  Please don't miss out on this super fun day making holiday cards, gifts, and decorations, which raising money for a great cause!

Hand Sanitizer holder

Hello Stampers!  One of the fun things about Convention, is that we have the tradition of making what we call Roomie gifts.  This all started when there was only one room full of our group, now we have grown, but we keep making gifts for each other!

 This was the gift that Sarah made.  Can you tell what it is?  Here it is opened up:

 It hold hand sanitizer!  This is so fitting because Sarah and I are the germophobes of the group!  I carry hand sanitizer with me everywhere I go!  Love it Sarah!

 This is the super cute pouch that Julie sewed for us!  I love it!  And, we didn't even know that she was a seamstress!  Now she's going to be in trouble!!!

Convention Make n' Takes

Hello Stampers!  Let's take a look at the rest of the Make n' Takes from Convention this year!

 This is one of the Mini Muslin Bags (132180) from the Holiday catalog.   So easy to stamp on with just our Classic stamp pads!

 This is a card that was made in My DIgital Studio!  I love the way we used the Hexagon punch (130919) to punch out the front and it is then adhered inside the card! 

 These are some notecards that we made using the Hello, Lovely stamp set (w-130240 c-130243).  Here they are all packaged up to give as a gift:

 We used the Tag a Bag Gift Bags (131370) again!  The notecards fit perfectly inside these bags!  Very fun!

I love all of the make n' takes that we get fron Convention!  They do such a great job to really give us a variety of projects, and to show us alternative ways to use the products!  Thanks Stampin' Up!

Convention Make n' takes

Hello Stampers!  I was cleaning up my stamping studio the other day, and I came across my Convention Make n' Takes!  I never complete them at Convention because I don't stamp well in a setting like that.  I feel to rushed!  So, I always bring them all back home and complete them.  And,  here they are:

 This is one of the Tag a Bag Gift Boxes (130927) from page 158 of the main catalog.  I love these boxes!  They are a great size!  This is looking down from the top at the box.

 This picture is from the side.  We actually laid a piece of cardstock over the top of the box, inside the transparancy sleeve, so that you couldn't see inside the box.  I store my washi tape rolls inside one of these boxes!  Perfect fit!

 This is a card that we made using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (w-130514 c-130517) and the Hello, Lovely stamp set (w-130240 c-130243).  We got both of these stamp sets for FREE for attending Convention!

 This super cute bag is from the Tag a Bag Gift Bag (131370) and the Tag a Bag Accessory Kit (130153).  Super cute!  I will do a video soon on how to make these bags have a bottom so that they stand up!  The stamp set we used is the Tag It stamp set (w-130300 c-130303) which is the Ronald McDonald stamp set this year!  That means that for every stamp set that Stampin' Up! sells of this set, $3 will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities!  We have donated over 1 million dollars to date!  I love working with this great company!

My Digital Studio downloads and a scrapbook page

Hello Stampers!  For this week's My DIgital Studio challenge, we were to use simply end of summer pictures to create our project.  Since I just took the gir's to the zoo last week, this was perfect!  We also were reminded of the align took in My DIgital Studio, so I used it too!  Here is my project:

   I aligned the circle photos on the second page.  It is so simple to do!  Simply click on all three photos, so to Arrange and then click on Align!  It's that simple!!!  Hope you like my pages!

Apothocary Art birthday card

Hello Stampers!  Today I wanted to show you a birthday card that I received from a dear friend of mine.

 Pat has been a customer of mine for several years and she is one person that makes me so thankful for this business that I have and all of the great friends I have made through it!  Thanks Pat!

She used the Apothecary Art stamp set (w-128415 c-125527).  And of course you have to notice that the card is purple!!!  My favorite color!!

Team Meeting

Hello Stampers!  Today was our August Dink It Up team meeting.  We had a great time, as usual!  We spent this meeting making jewelry with buttons!  Here are some of the gals busy crafting:

Glazed & Confused fundraiser

Hello Stampers!  Last night was our fundraiser for one of my team members, Terri.  We spent the evening, not stamping, but painting!  We went to one of the paint your own pottery studios and we had a blast!  Here are some pics:

We had 42 painters there and we basically took over the studio! What a fun evening! 

Masculine sympathy card & Another New Photopolymer stamp set

Hello Stampers!  I recently needed a few masculine sympathy cards so I got out my stamps and ink, and this is what I came up with:

I love the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set (w - 128751 c - 127805) and it came through for me again! The colors I used were Crumb Cake and Always Artichoke.  And of course I love the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439) and the Top Note Die (113463).

 Stampin' Up! has brought out another new Photopolymer Stamp Set!  This one is called Another Thank You!
