Candy Corn box and Witch hat

Hello Stampers!  Happy Halloween!  I have the cutest candy corn box to show you today!  I cased this box from Ronda Wade.  I have a friend that loves candy corn like I do!  Every year I try to make her a little something that has to do with candy corn.

This was made using the Top Note Die (113463) with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439).

This is a fun paper mache' witch hat that I made using the Howlstooth & Scaringbone designer series paper (126906).

One of my team members, Sarah, actually made one of these and I absolutely loved it and knew that I had to make one for myself!!!  Isn't it super cute?  Thanks Sarah for the wonderful idea!

Here's a couple of Halloween projects since Halloween is fast approaching:

  Today is our Halloween party at preschool.  I always try to make something little for the kids and this is what I've made this year.  I used the Petite Pocket die (123131) with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439).  I think they turned out cute!

This is a Halloween card that I made with some of the left-over pieces from my Howl-o-ween printers box that I received FREE from Stampin' Up!  I love the perks of being a demonstrator!

Hearts wall hanging

Hello Stampers!  My daughter, Casie, is obsessed with Pinterest! When she comes home on the weekend from college, she always has craft projects for us to complete!  Here is one of the items that she made:

Fun huh?  Here is a close-up:

Casie just punched out several hearts using the Full Heart punch (119883) from several different colors of Stampin' Up! cardstock.  I thought she was going to sandwich the string in between two hearts, but I see she just glued each heart to the string.  I think it turned out really neat!

This would look great hanging over the head of a bed as a headboard even!

WOW cards and a Fall card swap

Hello Stampers!  Tomorrow are my monthly WOW classes.  We will be making three projects that just make you say WOW when you see them!  Here is one of the cards we will be making:

Paper flower pin

Hello Stampers!  Yesterday was my monthly Dink It Up! group meeting.  I like to recognize my top in sales, promotions, and recruits for the previous quarter.  I make paper flower pins to "pin" my Queens of the Quarter.  Here is what I came up with for my new Queens:

I used our Jumbo Sticky Rounds (127852) from the Holiday Mini catalog.  I actually cut them down so they were a little smaller.  I took about 14" of our new 3 1/2" Scalloped Tulle Ribbon (127841) in Cherry Cobbler, also from the Holiday catalog.  I just started scrunching it and and sticking it to the sticky round, placing it around the outside edge of the circle. 

For the center flower, I punched 5 of the 2 3/8" Scallop Circles (118874) from the Patio Party designer series paper (126916).  I scrunched each one of them up a couple of times and then stacked them together.  I inserted a brad in the middle, and then layer by layer, scrunched them up again.  After I scrunched up each layer, I sprayed it with a mist of water. 

Once the flower dries, it will harden and maintain its shape.  I then attached one to the middle of the sticky rounds and attached a pin back to the back with hot glue.

It's that easy!  Need more directions, let me know and I will help you out or make a tutorial.

More Christmas Cards!

Hello Stampers!  Have you started making your Christmas cards yet?  If not, I can help you get started!  I am holding my second Christmas Card class this month.  We will be making eight cards total, two each of four designs.  You will have four cards to finish in class, and four cards for you to complete at home.  Here are the cards:

It's hard to tell from the picture, but there is sparkly bling on three of the cards!!!  I guess you will have to join us in class to see them up close!

The class will be Wednesday, October 24th, at 7:00 p.m.  Your first Christmas class will be $20 or free with a $25 purchase.  If this is your second class this season, your class will only be $15 or free with a $20 purchase. 

There will be one more class, in November, so join us to get your Christmas cards completed!

Howlstooth & Scaringbone birthday card

Hello Stampers!  I have another birthday card to show you that I made using the fun Howlstooth & Scaringbone designer series paper (126906).

I punched the designer series paper out using the Scallop Square punch (119884).  I attached them to the Very Vanilla cardstock and then ran the whole thing through the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439) using the Argyle Embossing folder (127750).  I love how this gives the card a quilted look.

Halloween scrapbook page

My Digital Studio downloads and project

Hello Stampers!  I have had so much fun playing with the new My Digital Studio 2.  I actually purchased it about a month ago, but have just finally had the time to download it and do some training.  I strongly encourage anyone who purchases the software to go on to www.mydigitalstudio.com and go through the Stampin' Up! training videos!  There are several 1 - 2 minute videos showing you a lot of the changes in the software!  Too cool!  I plan on doing a training class soon also!  So be watching for details!

Here is the signature that I created for Halloween.  I am so excited about one of the new features!  You can color your stamps!  This stamp is from the Toxic Framables download and I went in and colored the letters Pumpkin Pie, Elegant Eggplant, and Daffodil Delight!  It was so easy too!
