Halloween Pop Up Card

Hello Stampers!  I held my September WOW classes yesturday and I just had to share with you one of the cards that we made!

Isn't this the cutest thing???  All of the creatures were made using the Owl Builder punch (118074).  I love that punch and use it a lot!

I have a super cute baby card that we will be making at my October WOW class!  Watch for my October newsletter.  There will be a picture of it there!

Halloween swap cards

Hello Stampers!  Here are the last of the Halloween swaps from my downline!

This fun card is from Sarah!  Don't you love the Googly Ghouls stamp set (w-128060 c-128063)?  It is so cute!  She also used the new smaller 1 1/4" Scallop Circle punch (127811).

This yummy card is from Anne.  Isn't it cute how she punched the ovals for the tootsie rolls to pop through?

Finally is my card.  We made this card in my card classes this month too.

Halloween swap cards

Hello Stampers!  Today I wanted to show you some more of the Halloween swaps from my downline group.

This fun card was made by Alice Marie.  I love the pinwheel cards!  And I love the Howlstooth & Scaringbone designer series paper (126906)!

This fun little peek-a-boo card was made by Julie.  I love all of the embossing and the fun way this card opens!

My Digital Studio downloads and project

Hello Stampers!  A couple of weeks ago, we went down to Forest Park and watched the annual Hot Air Balloon Race!  It was so neat! 

I decided to make some scrapbook pages to remember the day.

 

I used the Up, Up, & Away download for the hot air balloons.  The hills are made from the petal punch.  I just enlarged the petals, turned them on their side, and filled them in!  So easy!!!  I love to play with My Digital Studio!

Christmas gift bag

Hello Stampers!  What a great weekend this has been! I'm loving the cooler temperatures!

This weekend was Family Weekend at SEMO so we packed up and drove down to see Casie.  The activities that the college had planned were sort of lame, so we made our own fun!  We toured the town and drove around to see the sights!

Here is a mill and covered bridge that we came across in a neighboring town.

Since I don't have a project to show you today, I thought I would show you another display from Convention. 

This fun gift bag was made using scallop circle punches!  I love it!  I'm going to make some this year!

Polka Dot Parade

Hello Stampers!  Have you ever come across an item in the catalog and thought "That's cool.  I really should get that" and then you don't get it?  And the next time you thumb through the catalog and say it again, and again you don't get it?

Well that is what I have done with the Polka Dot Parade designer series paper (126902).  I have been meaning to buy it, but just have never gotten around to it.  Until now!!!

My downline, Alice Marie loves this dsp and makes cards with it a lot!  I finally decided that I needed to own it too, especially after I saw this fun card!

I love the Daffodil Delight and black together!

Fancy Candle Wrap

Hello Stampers!  Have you tried to make one of the fancy ornaments on the cover of the Holiday Mini catalog yet?  I haven't yet, but I have several customers and downline who have made them!  They say they are fairly easy, just time consuming.

It is even easier when you use the Holiday Ornaments Framelits die (127816)!

I have to show you a fun candle wrap that my downline Lisa made with the same technique.

Isn't it gorgeous?  I have just got to try one of these for myself!  Keep watching!

Triple Layer cards

Hello Stampers!  At my August downline meeting, I taught my gals how to do the Triple Layer Technique!  They LOVED it and have gone crazy making cards with it!  Here are a few samples that they brought to our last meeting to share:

Aren't they fun?  The possibilities are absolutely endless!!!  Here are the measurements for this type of card:

Large Scallop Edgelit scrapbook page

Hello Stampers!  I have a scrapbook page to show you that was displayed at Convention this year.  I know, I know!  Convention was over two months ago, but I was cleaning off my camera and wanted to show you some of the pictures.

This is such a cute yet simple scrapbook page!  They just used the Large Scallop Edgelit (127019) in the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine.  They added a designer series paper flower on the page also!  How simple but really contains a WOW!

Christmas Card Class

Hello Stampers!  I have my first Christmas Card Class tomorrow night!  I'm so excited!  I LOVE to make Christmas cards!  I still have some openings, so if you would like to join us, let me know!

Here are the cards we will be making tomorrow night!

I am so excited for these cards!

The card on the top left uses the new First Christmas stamp set (w - 127988 c - 127991) with the new Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Stamp pad (126857).  It stamps really shimmery!!!  Beautifu!

I had to make another card with the penguin made from the Owl Builder punch (118074).

The bottom left card is one of the Triple Layer Cards that I am obsessed with lately!  It uses the Christmas Wishes Hostess stamp set (w - 127982 c - 127985) from the Holiday mini catalog.  It also uses some of the 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon ribbon that you can get for FREE this month with a $40 order!

The bottom right card uses the windmill technique that is so cool!  I love the Be of Good Cheer designer series paper (126896). 

My class starts at 7:00 p.m. and the cost is $20 or free with a $25 purchase.  We will make two of each card, completing half of them in class and completing the rest at home.  There are still spots open, so let me know if you are interested in joining us!

Halloween goodies

Hello Stampers!  I have had several people asking for better pictures of the gifts that I made for my two top downline members last weekend.  So, today I will show you!

The box is one that I bought and simply covered with scallop squares from the Howlstooth & Scaringbone designer series paper (126906). 

The witch broom on the left was made out of a pixie stick and some More Mustard designer series paper from the Regals Collection Designer Series Paper Stack (117154).

The pen on the right was made with duck tape!  My daughter Amie will be making these at the upcoming craft fairs that I'm participating in.  She is trying to earn some money to pay for her choir trip in the Spring to Orlando.  Come check all of the fun deigns out that she is making at my craft fairs!

Dink It Up! group meeting

Hello Stampers!  Today was my monthly group meeting.  I wanted to share some of the highlights with you!

At our last monthly meeting, I taught the gals how to do the Heringbone technique.  We did this with the new Howlstooth & Scaringbone designer series paper (126906) from the Holiday mini catalog.  I love this paper!  This is what everybody walked away from the meeting with:

Isn't that cool???  Everyone was told to complete their card and bring it back to the next meeting!  Here is what they all came up with:

  Very cool huh?  I have seen lots of tutorials on how to do this technique, but if you would like for me to do a tutorial on it let me know and I'll see what I can do!!
