Hello Stampers! I told you the other day that it is all graduation around my house! Today I wanted to show you the banner that I made and the party favors!
Here is a close-up of some of the letters.
Another close-up. I actually made this banner using My Digital Studio! The actual pennant shapes is from the pennant punch download. I just filled each punch in with Crushed Curry polka-dot designer series paper! I love that I can still use colors that have retired! I printed two banner shapes out on each piece of 8 1/2" X 11" cardstock and cut them out. The letters are also punches so I filled each of them in with the same designer series paper so they coordinated.
I printed it all out on my home printer. The letters were punched out using the 1 3/8" circle punch and matted on the scallop circle punch. They are adhered with dimensionals over pieces of black Scallop Dots ribbon!
Each flag is held on to the next one using a brad. So simple and fun!
Now for the party favors.
This is looking inside of the box. I actually used the retired matchbox die (which I was super sad to see go). I only used half of the lid so that I could hinge it on. I adhered a 3" square to the top after I embossed it with the Square Lattice embossing folder. My daughter made all of the tassels out of yarn and we made these as party favors for her graduation party! Everybody loved them!
The nugget wrappers for the inside were stamped using the It's a Wrap Occasions stamp set! Love that set too!!!
