I'm batty for my girls!

Hello Stampers!  Happy Halloween!  Every year I make a special Halloween candy holder for my girls.  It doesn't seem to matter how old they get, they still want them!

This is what I came up with this year. 

And here is a close up of one of them.

For the box part I used the Mini Milk Carton die (117310).  I only used three of the four sections, and I cut two of them.  I attached them together using sticky strip (104294) and inserted a wing in between each one.

The wing was made with the Perfect Pennants die (123126).  I used the 1" circle punch to make some scallops on the bottom edge, and then I ran them through the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439) using my Spider Web embossing folder (120889)!

Don't you just love the Glimmer brads (121005) for the eyeballs?  I used the In-Color brads and added the matching ribbon before I filled them with candy!

Great job Cards!!!

Hello Stampers!  Well, our home town boys did it again!  We won the World Series!  It took them all 7 games, but they came through for us!

I thought I should make a card to celebrate since that is just what card makers do!

Isn't it fun?  I'd say it's worthy of some World Class Champs!

Candy Corn box

Hello Stampers!  I have a good friend that I work with that LOVES candy corn just like I do!  I thought it would be fun to make her a box of candy corn for Halloween this year!

Here is what I came up with!  Don't you love the candy corn bag toppers?  I made these using the Petite Pennants Builder punch (122361) with the Brights Patterns designer series paper stack (117155).  The little tag that says BOO! was stamped with the Tiny Tags stamp set (118091).

The box was made from the Fancy Favor die (115965) for the box and the Petal Cone die (121810) for the candy corn, with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439).

A Bowl full of Spiders

Hello Stampers!  I really do hate spiders, but I love to make these spiders using mint patties!

I made this fun bowl of spiders to take to the orthodontist with me this week!  These spiders are so easy to make with the Scallop Circle punch ().  I used the retired Photo Corners punch for the feet, which you can still get on the Clearance Rack if you hurry!  You can get this punch for only $6.99 now!  Hop over to my Inkin With Dink online store and order yours before they're gone!

Halloween candy holders

Hello Stampers!  I wanted to make some special gifts for my downline members who recently participated in a book-a-thon, and I had seen these cute candy holders and thought I would make some of them with a Halloween theme.

Aren't they fun?  The main box is made from the Fancy Favor die (115965) and my Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439).  The Halloween stamps are from the Batty For You stamp set (116576).  I stamped them and then punched them out using the 1" Circle punch (119868). 

I used the Frightful Sight designer series paper (122351) for the background on the box.

Of course, I filled them with lots of yummy candy too!

My Digital Studio downloads

Hello Stampers!  Do you remember how last Tuesday, for My Digital Studio Tuesday, I simply printed off some designer series paper and some embellishments?  Well I put them together and made a couple of cards to show you!

When you print the project on your own printer, there is no guarantee that it will be true Stampin' Up! colors.  If you have your project professionally printed, they will be true colors.  Well, since I printed mine at home, the colors were different, so I adjusted my card base accordingly.

On this card, I used Riding Hood Red cardstock.  I loved this sentiment, so I thought it deserved some Silver Glimmer paper (124005) for it's sparkle! 

On this card, I used Old Olive cardstock.  I decided to cut the snowflake from the same Silver Glimmer paper (124005) using the Snowflake #2 die (113460) and my Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439).  Didn't it turn out gorgeous?  I love the glittery snowflake!!!

Using My Digital Studio (118108) for stamp set and designer series paper downloads is great!  It is less expensive and takes up a whole lot less storage space!

Frankenstein bags

Hello Stampers!  I had a really good friend ask me if I could make her some Halloween gift bags like I made for her a couple of years ago!  If you are like me, I can't remember what I made last week, much less a couple of years ago!

So I asked her to bring me in the one I made and I could certainly replicate them!  So here is what I made for her!

Aren't they super cute?  They are so easy to do!  Simply circle punches for the eyes and nose, and I free handed the hair.  I also did some sponging on the circles.  That's it!

So if you have some Halloween gift bags to make, here is a simple idea for you!

Holiday Gift Giving Extravaganza!

Hello Stampers!  I am so excited about this new class I'm offering!  Here's my flyer:

There will be three classes running simultaneously. 

The first class will be a gift card holder class.  You will make four over the top gift card holders.  The cost of this class is $25 which includes a spool of Chocolate Chip 1/2" Scallop Dots ribbon.

The second class will be a Punch art Gift Tag class.  You will make four super cute tags featuring punch art!   The cost of this class is $25 which includes a $16.95 punch of your choice!

The third class will be a Holiday Flip scrapbook album.  You will make a fun fold, 6 X 6 scrapbook album!  This will be perfect for featuring your holiday pictures or as a gift!  The cost of this class is $25 which includes half of a Christmas Lane Simply Scrappin' Kit!

This class will be held on Saturday, November 12th from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Class times are open so you may come and go as needed.  You can sign up for one, two or three classes.  If you sign up for all three classes, you will receive a pack of glimmer paper for FREE!

Top Note treat bags

Hello Stampers!  I have to show you the really cute treat bags that my future downline member, Sarah brought to me Wednesday evening!

Aren't they adorable?  I love to use the Top Note die (113463) with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439) for treat bag toppers!  And Sarah told me that she is using the negative pieces from them for picture frames!  Way to use your scraps!!!

Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps

Hello Stampers!  Have you seen the new Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps that Stampin' Up! carries!  They are so fun and easy to use!  The set comes with a pumpkin, snowflake, and heart stamp.

I decided last weekend that I was going to try my hand at them!

I mixed up all of my ingredients, following the shortbread recipe that comes with the press!

Then we rolled it into balls and rolled those into sugar.

Then I stamped them!  I found that if I dipped my stamp in sugar before I stamped each cookie, it wouldn't stick at all!

And yum!  They were quite tasty!  Next time I'm going to try the sugar cookie recipe that comes with the set!  I'm also going to buy one for each of my daughters to put in their hope chests!

Halloween thank yous

Hello Stampers!  Every few weeks I make thank you cards to include in my orders.  This last batch that I made were of course Halloween cards.

They are really just a smaller version of the card that we made in my monthly card class last month, but since I love the Wisteria Wonder color and the stamp set Kidoodles (122865) I had to make them!

Notice the Spider Web embossing folder (120889) for the background?  I just love that embossing folder!

Pillow Box Owl

Hello Stampers!  I saw an owl made with the pillow box die quite awhile ago and decided that I wanted to make some for Halloween!  I like owls all of the time, but I really like to use them in my Halloween crafts!

Isn't this cute?  And this is what a parliament of these cuties looks like!

Did you know that a group of owls is called a parliament?  I didn't.  I had to google it!

Anyway, these started with pillow boxes using the Pillow Box die (113466) and the Big Shot-Die Cut Machine (113439) and I punched hearts using the Full Heart punch (119883) from the Frightful Sight designer series paper (122351).  The beak and feet are punched using the 5-Petal punch (119880).

These would be adorable holding candy or little treats!
