My Digital Studio downloads and fall signature

Two-step bird punch card

Hello Stampers!  I did a party at Lynn's house on Saturday with her and nine of her friends!  We had a great time!  Hi Lynn!  Lynn loves birds and punches, so of course I had to have them make a card using the Two-Step bird punch (117191)!  Wanna see it?

 Isn't this fun?  We used the Nursery Nest designer series paper (122347).  Remember that this is one of the papers that is included in the special this month, but three designer series paper packs and get one free!!!

We used the Scallop Trim border punch (118402) on the designer series paper to make it fancy!!!

Do you like the flower on the card?  That is made with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439) and the Floral Fusion Sizzlit (115969).  Then we put a Basic Pearl Jewel (119247) in the middle!  Too fun!

Don't forget to order your packets of designer series paper while the special is going on!  It is only good until Wednesday, August 31st!

 

Flower Fancy cards

Hello Stampers!  I have got to show you the great cards that one of my customers made!  She saw the Flower Fancy stamp set (111578) and had to have it!  Now that I've seen her cards, I may have to have it too!

 

 Aren't they both very pretty?  Lisa is very creative and makes beautiful cards!

Friends Fur-ever card

Hello Stampers!  Who knew that today is National Dog Day?  To celebrate, I wanted to show you a card that I made for a recent swap I was in.  The theme of our swap this time was anything animals!

 This is the card that I made.  I think this Friends Fur-ever stamp set (117008) is just the cutest thing!  I got this set for free last month from Stampin' Up!  One of the many perks of being a demonstrator!  I received several free stamps recently for my sales and recruits during Sale-A-Bration!  The best part of it is that it could be ANY set in the catalog!  So I picked this set as one of my choices because I thought I could use it for a number of different occasions.  Be watching my blog over the next few months to see other samples using this set!

For my card I used the bright colors of Pacific Point and Melon Mambo.  I still have the summer color bug!

I used the new Lace Ribbon Border punch (122362).  It is so simple to use and line up.

Under the Stars card

Hello Stampers!  I love the stamp set Under the Stars (111556)!  The bear just makes all sorts of really cute cards!  Here is one that I made up the other day looking for a masculine card.

 I think the Woodgrain stamp (117100) is great on the background.  The sentiment on this card could make it good for birthday, get well, and contratulations cards.

I have used this bear for Valentine's cards where is he holding a string of hearts.  I have used it for a Christmas card where he is holding a stack of presents.  I have used it for a birthday card where he is holding balloons.  There are unlimited things you can do with this bear!

Waffle cone ice cream card

Hello Stampers!  Did you know that today is actually the anniversary of the patent for the Waffle Maker?  I was trying to figure out how I could make a card to celebrate, but I kept thinking of the waffle cone, so I went that way!

 This is one of the cards that I made with a waffle cone!  I used several bright retired designer series papers punched out with the Cupcake Builder punch (121807) for the scoops of ice cream.

 I decided to make this card too with pastel designer series papers.

The cone on both cards is punched with the Petite Pennants Builder punch (122361) and run through the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439) and the Square Lattice embossing folder (119976).

Why don't you make a card today to celebrate the waffle maker!  Let me know becuase I'd love to see it!

Recipe boxes

Hello Stampers!  WOW have I been busy lately!  I made a vow that I would start getting ready for all of my craft fairs early this year.  I am usually frantically finishing items the night before, which is very stressful! 

So this year, I decided to get stuff done early!  Here's where I started:

 I had tons of card kits laying around from previous card classes, so I put all of them together and some other stuff I had laying around.  I added 154 cards to my sale boxes!  Not bad huh?  They are ready to go now!

This is what the girls and I made last week for ourselves:

 I had seen similar recipe boxes on the internet before, and I decided the girls and I needed to do them!  So I simply bought the metal boxes and we sat down with all of my retired designer series paper, ribbon, and accessories, and these are what we came up with!

Aren't they fun?  Here's a close-up of my box.

Petite Pennant Builder punch birthday card

Hello Stampers!  Have you seen the new Petite Pennant Builder punch (122361)?  It is so much fun to play with!

 This is one of the cards that we made at my New Catalog Premiere.  We punched the pennant shapes out of the Subtles Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack (117152).  We just punched it once since the punch punches out two shapes at the same time.  We then turned one over before adhering them together to show the pattern from the opposite side.

The flowers are from the Boho Blossoms punch (119858) and there is a Basic Pearl (119247) in the middle of each flower.  Too fun!

Flower Fest birthday card

Hello Stampers!  Don't you just love the bright colors of summer?  I thought I would pull them all together for a summer card!  What do you think?

 This card uses the Flower Fest stamp set (122278) and the Bold Blossom stamp set (123232).  I just love the stem image from the Bold Blossom stamp set!  I'm going to miss it when it's gone at the end of this month!

The flower is from the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch (122464).  I punched Melon Mambo on the first setting, Daffodil Delight on the second setting, and Tangerine Tango on the third setting.  Have you tried the Triple Layer punches yet?  You have got to give them a try!  They are great!

The sentiment is from my new favorite sentiment stamp set, Petite Pairs (122495).

Turtle & Company Get Well card

Hello Stampers!  I love the new Turtle & Company stamp set (122870)!  It is really cute and makes fun cards!  The best part though is that it is our Making A Difference stamp set for Ronald McDonald House Charities this year!  What does that mean? Each year Stampin' Up! designs a stamp set to help raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities.  For each set that is purchased, SU! will donate $3 to Ronald McDonald House Charities!  To date, we have donated over 1 million dollars to RMHC! 

 This fun card is one of the Monthly Card Class cards this month.  I took this idea directly from the Idea Book & Catalog.  The catalog really is a great place for card ideas!  Take advantage of this valuable tool!

The colors I used on this card were So Saffron, Calypso Coral, and Lucky Limeade!

I did add some punched circles with the flowers from the Boho Blossoms punch (119858) to the card background to add some depth.  Don't you love the way I cut the head and tail off of the turtle and just put the head back on upside down?  I love this idea, and it makes a super cute card!
