Chicks 'N' Chocolate Stamping 101

Hello Stampers!  I have to tell you about this exciting new class that I have scheduled!  Does the title intrigue you? 

I have several customers and newsletter readers that are brand new or fairly new to stamping, so I decided to have a Stamping 101 class to help get them started and make them feel more comfortable.  Here are the details:

Chicks N' Chocolate Stamping 101

Monday, May 16th at 6:30 p.m.

The class will be at my house.  Get in touch with me to get the address and directions.

The cost is $5 which includes your supplies.  We will be making a card and a gift enclosure.  There will be stamping, chocolate eating, and socializing!

I will also have babysitters available if needed.

My Digital Studio vacation album

Hello Stampers!  I finished the vacation albums for my girls using My Digital Studio.  I want to show you some of the pages of Amie's album.

 

 

 
 

 
 

 
 
 
Making these albums is so easy!  You get to pick the background paper, how many pictures are on each page and where they are located, and any accessories on each page.  Too fun!

When you are ready to have it printed, you get to pick the type of album you want.  I did fabric covers for each girl, Casie's is pink and Amie's is blue.  You can also choose a photo cover or leather album.

Easter Bunny and Chick baskets

Hello Stampers!  Happy Easter!  I hope you are enjoying your holiday!

I wanted to show you the super cute Easter Bunny and Chick hanging baskets I made for my girls. 

 Aren't they super cute!

 I found these on a blog and knew that I had to make these.  They are made with my Big Shot Die-Cut machine (113439) and the new Petal Cone die (121810) that was in the Occasions mini catalog.  The faces and wings are just made with various circle, scallop circle, square, and heart punches.

Easter Chick card

Hello Stampers!  Today I wanted to show you an Easter card that I made last week. 

 I found on someone's blog how she made an Easter chick using the two-step bird punch!  Too cute!  And pretty easy too!  Once you punch out your bird body using the Two-step bird punch (117191), you simply reinsert it into the punch and cut off a little bit of the tummy and end of tail.

I made the little Easter egg with the new 3/4" X 15/16" oval punch (120908).  The grass is the Inspired by Nature stamp set (111656).

Easter gifts and jelly bean bags

Hello Stampers!  Look at what I walked out of my house with yesturday morning!  I definately had my hands full!!

 It was my last day of work before the Easter break, so I had to take in my gifts for the preschoolers and all of my coworkers.  I also decided to take the gifts for the girl's teachers and for the offices at both schools too.  Take care of it all at once!

 These are the little bags of jelly beans that I made for the offices of both schools.  I always make little baskets of things for the office staff and other teachers who don't have my kids.  Aren't they cute?

I used A Good Egg stamp set (114974) and just layered circle punches and a scallop circle.  The little plastic bags are 3" X 2" bags.

Jelly Bean stackers

Hello Stampers!  Sorry for the couple of days of absence.  I was away at a scrapbooking retreat all weekend.  Now I'm back and ready to roll!  Onward with Easter items!

 These are the Jelly Bean stackers that I have made for my craft fairs this Spring and also for table favors at our family Easter get together.  The whole family will be here this weekend for three days.  I thought these would be really cute on the table.

A Good Egg jelly bean box

Hello Stampers!  You just have to see this super cute jelly bean box that I made for my Spring Craft fairs!

 Isn't it fun?  And super easy too!

This is the Box #2 die (114518) with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439).  I used the stamp set A Good Egg (114974) and then cut out the chick.  The egg shell has been paper pieced with coordinating designer series paper.  Instead of ribbon around the box, I just punched out a coordinating strip of cardstock with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch (119275).

Petal Cone die Carrot

Hello Stampers!  Well I told you yesturday that I would show you more items made with the Petal Cone die (121810) and the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439).  So here is another item!

 I made these carrots for my Spring craft fairs that I'm doing this year.  I think they turned out really cute!  I have seen these on several blogs, but I think the shredded, crimped grass really makes them!

For the grass, I just ran my cardstock through my crimper (101618) and then shreded the cardstock in my shredder. 

The carrot is just one run through the Petal Cone die and then closed up.  I cut one of the scallop half circles that is on the die in garden green for the top of the carrot.  Super easy and fun!

Petal Die Easter basket

Hello Stampers!  You have got to see this fun Easter Basket that I made for my Eggselent Easter class last month.

 My upline, Jeri, showed this at the Branson Regional in February.  She made several very cute things with the Petal Cone die (121810) that is in the Occasions mini catalog.  When I saw this basket though, I knew I had to have this die!  I will be showing you several other things to make with this die in the upcoming months! 

The bunny is attached to the basket, including the paws and feet!  The basket is made with two of the punched dies that have been cut down and attached together.
