Nature Walk 3 X 3 note card

Hello Stampers!  We made this 3 X 3 note card at the Branson Regional.

 Isn't it pretty?  We used the Nature Walk stamp set (121925) and inked it up with Stampin' Write markers. 

The flower on top is one of the new Vanilla Rosettes (118774) in the Occasions mini catalog.  We colored it with a marker and then went over it with our Aqua Painter (103954).  This caused the color to run throughout the rest of the rosette and give it a nice even coloring!  You have got to get some of these and try them!

Nature Walk note card set

Hello Stampers!  Where has the time gone!  I can't believe I have been away from my blog for so long!  I have been busy getting stuff ready for the craft fair that I am in next weekend.  If you are in the South County area, I will be at Oakville High School both Saturday, March 5th and Sunday, March 6th!  Stop by and see me! 

 Have you seen this fun set of 3 X 3 cards that we made at the Branson regional yet?  How cute!

The holder is super easy to make.  We just took a square of cardstock and folded it in half both ways.  We cut the  bottom corners off cutting from the halfway point up and down to the halfway point from side to side. 

 Then you fold the bottom half up and you have your two little pockets!  How easy was that???  We put squares of the Botanical Gazette designer series paper (121783) on the inside to make it look pretty!

 We made two notecards to tuck into both sides.  They each used the Botanical Gazette designer series paper and Vanilla cardstock.

We stamped the bird from the Nature Walk stamp set (121925) and tied a piece of Pear Pizzazz seam binding ribbon (122330) around the holder.

Hello Stampers!  Well you may have noticed that Stampin' Up! always comes out with their new My Digital Studio downloads on Tuesdays, so I was thinking that I would start showing you some projects that I have been making on MDS when I show you the new downloads.

I always make a calendar for my mom every Christmas.  These are super easy to make and I love the fact that I can add however many pictures I want to each page.

 This is the cover page that I made for my calendar this year.  To make this page I simply used some designer series paper and added a text box.

 This was my January page.  The background is a piece of designer series paper.  I just added some ribbon and a bow!

Branson Regional

Hello Stampers!  OMG!  I just got back from my Regional in Branson, Missouri!  It was wonderful!  What a great time we had!

 Isn't this create banner the cutest thing?  This was one of our make n' takes!  I love it!  The individual banners are made from the new Petal Cone die (121810) in the Occasions mini catalog!  That die is so versatile!

We cut the flowers that mat the letters from the Fun Flowers Bigz die (121812) with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439). 

Aren't the letters cute?  They are stamped with the stamp set Broadsheet Alphabet (118724).

Leadership pics and bag

Hello Stampers!  As I was going through the pictures on my camera today, I realized I still had a few pictures from Leadership to show you!

 This is the gorgeous bag that we received!  Every Stampin' Up! Convention and Leadership we attend, we receive a bag!  They are usually great bags!  On the right hand side is the coordinating wallet that they had for sale at Momento Mall!  Too fun!

 This is a picture that was taken inside the hotel we stayed at!  This was outside the Cascades area where out room was!  How fantastic is this?
 This is a pic of me and my upline/roomie Jeri.  We are holding some of the awesome freebies that we were given for attending!  Gotta love that Glimmer paper!
 This is another area inside the hotel that we passed on our way to the Convention Center area.  They even had boat rides around this lake!
 This is the area inside the hotel where they had several shops and restaurants.  Isn't it cool how it looks like a street at night?

Springtime Vintage card

Hello Stampers!  I wanted to show you the final card that we are making during this month's Monthly Card Class.

 This card was CASE'd from a swap that I received at Leadership this year from my upline, Jeri!  I love it!  This card just spoke to me and said "Make me!"  So, I did!

This card uses the new Springtime Vintage designer series paper (121782) from the Occasions mini catalog.  And notice the 3D flower?  That is a Vintage Flower Adornment (121879) from the Occasions mini catalog too!  I just attached it with a mini glue dot (103683). These are so pretty and you get 24 in a container.

The stamp set that I used on this card was Wellness Wishes (115356).

Handmade Valentine's

Hello Stampers!  I hope that you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day!  I wanted to show you a couple of handmade Valentine's that I received this year.

 This lovely Valentine was from one of the girls in my preschool class, Alexa.  She made me a wonderful Christmas card this year too! 

 This beauty of a card was from my daughter, Amie!  Didn't she do a great job?  She is so creative!

 this is the card that she made for her sister, Casie.

Punch Penguin Valentine's Day card

Hello Stampers!  This is the cute Valentine's Day card I made for my daughter Casie. 

It is almost like one of the cards that we made in my Monthly Card Class last month, I just made a few changes.

 The penguins are made from the Two-Step Owl punch (118074).  The big heart in the background is punched from the new Glimmer Paper (121790) that can be found in the Occasions mini catalog, with the Full Heart punch (119883).  It is layered on the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit die (117332) which gives it a fancy look!  LOVE it!

Petal Cone die hanging hearts

Hello Stampers!  Have you seen the new Petal Cone die for the Big Shot yet?  It is so great!

 I made these hanging hearts with it for the girl's teachers for Valentine's Day.  They were super easy to make and they are very cute!  I put small cello bags of candy in them.

All I had to do was cut out two pieces of the cone die with my Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439) and not fold on any of the score lines except the tabs.  These tabs are folded and then used to adhere the two pieces together.  That's it!  Then all that is left to do is decorate!

I used the Love You Much stamp set (113756) with my punches to decorate it.  And the fun little flag is included on the Petal Cone die (121810).

Build a Cupcake punch birthday card

Hello Stampers!  Time to show you another one of the cards that we will be making at this month's Monthly Card Class!

This next card is another almost completely CASE'd card from a swap I received at Leadership from Cindy.

 I LOVE the new Build a Cupcake punch (121807) in the Occasions mini catalog!  And of course this card has my favorite Glimmer paper (121790) on it too which makes it doubly sweet!

Around the outside of the card I used the new Framed Tulips Embossing Folder (121809).  It gives such a pretty and elegant look and is perfect for framing a focal point on your card.  I sponged the embossed part to make it stand out a little bit more. 

The cupcake base and cherry are punched out of the Glimmer paper and the icing is out of Whisper White cardstock. 

The sentiment is from the Create a Cupcake stamp set (121915).  These items make such fun cards!

Valentine punch art Monkeys

Hello Stampers!  Today was my Valentine's Day party at preschool and you have got to see the super cute Valentine Monkeys that I made for my preschoolers!

 I found these over on Julie's blog some time ago and knew that I had to make them for my kids!

 The head is cut from the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439) using the Scallop Circle die (113468).  The eyes are the 1 3/8" Circle punch (119860) and the 1 1/4" Circle punch (119861).  The ears are the 1 1/4" Circle punch also.  For the nose, I used the Heart to Heart punch (119881) and the 2" X 1 3/8" oval punch (119859) for the snout.

Notice again the nose is punched out of the new Glimmer paper (121790)!  I seem to be able to incorporate this paper into almost every project that I make!  LOVE it!

Fifth Avenue Floral birthday card

Hello Stampers!  I wanted to show you one of the cards that we will be making in my Monthly Card class this month.

 This card is almost completely CASE'd from a swap that I received at Leadership from Alisa.  I just loved the colors together on this card, and of course the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set (113734) always makes beautiful cards with very little effort!

The colors used on this card are Poppy Parade, Tangerine Tango, and Marina Mist.

The sentiment is from the A Word for You stamp set (117032).
