Just Believe thank you card

Hello Stampers!  This is another one of our make n' takes from Convention this year.

 Isn't it a pretty card?  To make this card, we colored directly on the flower stamp from the stamp set Just Believe (116948) with Stampin' Write markers.  We then spritzed the stamp with water before we stamped it on watercolor paper.  Did you notice the button?  That is one of the buttons from our new Designer Buttons packs (119747).  Too fun!  They come in six different colors and three different sizes in one package!

Party Favor Boxes

Hello Stampers!  I wanted to show you some of the things you can do with the super cute Party Favor Boxes (117178).  They are in the Summer mini catalog and tomorrow will be the last day you can order them!

 Aren't they fun?  I have been giving them to my workshop hostesses with their chocolate and free class card inside!  The one on the left has a clip on it with some coordinating ribbon tied on it.  The one on the right has a fun paper flower on it.  Want to see a closer look?

 These flowers are super easy to make and I made this one out of the coordinating Island Oasis designer series paper (117173) that can also be found in the Summer mini catalog!  There is a rhinestone brad stuck in the middle and it is attached to the belly band which comes with the boxes, using mini glue dots!

These boxes are so cute and affordable!  You get 12 boxes in your package, 6 each of two different designs, with 12 belly bands!  All that for only $5.95!

My Digital Studio birthday cards part 2

My Digital Studio cards

Hello Stampers!  Well, I have been trying to play more with My Digital Studio software.  It really is a great program!  And easy to use!  Let me show you a couple of cards that I made the other day!

 Aren't they gorgeous????  They were super easy to do too! 

After you buy the initial software package, Stampin' Up! offers occasional downloads for your program.  It may be a new stamp set, punch, designer series paper, or accessories.  They are very reasonable in price too. 

Well, awhile back they offered the Summertime Splendor designer series paper download.  I purchased the download and then never did anything with it!  So the other day I ran across it and decided to make some cards.  There are five different sheets of paper for this download.  I picked my favorite four and downsized them each to a quarter piece of cardstock.

I then printed them out on white cardstock using my own printer.  I cut the cardstock into quarters and adhered them onto my cards!  I added a sentiment and some ribbon to some!  And that is it!  How easy is that!  And aren't they great?  I will show you my other two tomorrow!

Just Believe card

Hello Stampers!  I have the neatest card to show you!

 Isn't it pretty?  This was one of the cards that we did as a make n' take at Convention this year!  We used the gorgeous new stamp set called Just Believe (116948).  It is a gorgeous stamp set, and it obviously makes gorgeous cards!

To make this card, we used the negative image from the Circles #2 die (114526) cut out with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439).  We used this as our mask as we sponged different colors inside our circle using sponge daubers.  We then inked up our plant image with Chocolate Chip ink and stamped it off on our placemat first and then stamped inside the circle.  We then inked up our words and stamped them on the cardstock without stamping off so that they are darker than the plant image.

This makes an oh so pretty note card.

Ribbon Shares!

Hello Stampers!  I need more ribbon!  I'm tired of not having the color I need when I need it!  Do you ever feel that way?  I think I have a solution for you!  I'm going to offer some ribbon shares!  What is that you ask?  This is a great way for you to have a great selection of ribbon colors, without having to buy an entire spool of each color!  Sound good to you?  Read on!

We're going to start with the 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon.  This ribbon is thin enough to look great on cards, and it is very elegant looking.  It also comes in a great range of colors!  To view a sample, see page 191 in the current Idea Book & Catalog.

Flight of the Butterfly Thank You card

Hello Stampers!  WOW what a weekend!  I was hoping to get a lot of stamping done, but instead I spent the weekend at soccer games and making flowers for our cake decorating class on Wednesday!

Today I want to show you a card that I made for an organized swap that I was in at Convention.

 This is my new favorite color combination, Pumpkin Pie and Concord Crush!  Of course, purple is my favorite color!  The grass is from the Inspired by Nature stamp set (111656).  The butterflies are from the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set (111564).  The biggest butterfly has been cut out and added to the card with a dimensional.  The flowers are punched from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack (118309). 

I used the Top Note die (113463) with my Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439) for the background and notice the super cute ribbon looking strip across the middle of the card?  That is from the fun new punch called Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch (119275)!  How fun is that???

Christmas Wish Lists

Hello Stampers!  I know, Christmas in August?  Already?  You should be at my house for awhile!  My 13 year old has been bugging me to death already about all of the stuff she wants for Christmas!  So I decided to go ahead and make my kid's notebooks so they could start keeping track of all of the things they decide they want!  Here's what I came up with for them:

 Aren't they sweet?  I just LOVE this owl punch!  They call it a Two-Step owl punch (118074) since all of the pieces that you need to put this owl together are included in this punch.

 The notebooks are just the little pocket notebooks that you can find everywhere now with the school supplies.  The two I bought were $.49 each.

I printed the words off of my computer onto White cardstock.  I punched them out with the Curly Label punch (119851).  Notice the Real Red punched piece behind the words?  That is a sneak peek of the new Decorative Label punch (120907) found in the Holiday mini which goes live next month!  Don't you just love the designer series paper I used on these?  This is another sneak peek from the Holiday mini called Candy Cane Christmas designer series paper (120809).  If pictures could only do this project justice!  The designer series paper has glitter on the Real Red areas!  LOVE it!

One super advantage of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is that we get to see the mini catalogs before everyone else and we get to pre-order items from them to play with!  This year we even had a special for going to Convention!  We got to order bundles of items from the Holiday mini catalog at a 25% discount!  How cool is that???

Just Believe tag holder

Hello Stampers!  I just have to show you this cute tag holder that we made as one of our make n' takes at Convention this year!

 We made this with the new stamp set that we received there, Just Believe (116948).  One great thing about the stamp sets that we received at Convention this year, was that we got to choose if we wanted wood mount or clear mount stamp sets!  I love this stamp set, and we made a couple of other really cute cards with this set, which I will show you later.  This is a little pouch that we made which holds six little tags. 

 There is a small cellophane bag adhered inside.  I love these colors together too, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, and Daffodil Delight.

See the small flower on the jewelry tag on the outside?  That was done with markers on the stamp and then punched out with the jewelry tag punch (117190).  Too cute!

I've Been Mapped!

Hello Stampers!  What in the world does the title of this post mean????  I have now mapped my domain name in Typepad.  That means that to find my blog you now only need to type in www.inkinwithdink.com , no more typepad in the name!  How fun and official looking is that???

I also have a new e-mail address, [email protected] .

I will still be checking my other e-mail addresses, but try to switch to this new one for business e-mails.

On A Pedestal birthday card

Hello Stampers!  This card is a fun card that didn't make the cut last month for my Convention swaps.  Not sure why, because I think it's awful cute!

 I used the On A Pedestal stamp set (113814) for this card.  It is such a fun and yummy stamp set!  The fun sentiment is even from the same set!  The main colors I used are Pretty In Pink and Rich Razzleberry.  And the ribbon is the new Rich Razzleberry 3/8" taffeta ribbon (119966).

The bon bons were stamped on white cardstock with the cherry on top and then cut out separately and placed on Pretty In Pink circles punched with the 1 3/8" circle punch (119860).

Watercolor Trio notecard

Hello Stampers!  Today I'm going to show you a notecard that we made at Rachel's party a couple of weeks ago. 

 Isn't this pretty?  I just love the way the Watercolor Trio stamp set (117050) gives a watercolor look automatically when you stamp with it!  Since we wanted the flowers to be a separate color than the stems and leaves, we again used the Stampin' Write markers to color directly on the stamp.  We then huffed on it and then took it to the cardstock. 

Isn't the greeting very elegant looking?  It is from the same Watercolor Trio stamp set!  LOVE it!

Convention Scrapbook pages

Hello stampers!  Every year when I go to the Stampin' Up! Convention, I get into a 6 X 6 scrapbook page swap with some of m friends from my upline and sideline.  We create a double page spread and just reproduce several of them to swap with each other.  This is the spred that I created this year:

 I used my Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113429)with the Swirly decorative strip die (113456) and the Daisies #2 die (114520).  I also used the Boho Blossoms punch (119858) for the smaller flowers.
