Two Step Bird punch card

Hello Stampers!  Happy Arbor Day!  Since today is Arbor Day I thought I would make a card with a tree on it.  But you probably know how it is sometimes when what you start out with as an idea, isn't what always ends up on your card!  Here's my finished product:

Not exactly a card with a tree on it!!! But there is a branch on it, so I figure that is close enough!  Don't you just love the Two Step Bird punch?  I'm so glad that it is carrying over into the next catalog!  I love to punch the bird out of a solid cardstock and the wing out of coordinating designer series paper!  Here's the supplies I used:

Dance Scrapbook Page

Hello Stampers!  Today I wanted to show you a dance scrapbook page that I made.  I have a friend who owns a dance wear store, and she was wanting me to make some cards and scrapbook pages for her store.  This is one of them that I came up with!

I made a few for younger kids, but I wanted to make one for the older girls too.  If you click on the picture, you will notice that I used the Bride Specialty Paper.  That is such pretty paper!  For the letters on the side, I used the Serif Essentials Alphabet dies with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine. Hello Stampers!  I just love making these shopping lists!  They are the perfect size for jotting down a few things to pick up from the store!  This time I even put magnets on the back so they could hang on the fridge!

 I just bought the jr. size legal pads and had the office supply store cut them into thirds for me.  Not every place will do this, but some will and they will charge you per cut.  Not too much though.  The Real Red and Glorious Green pad uses the Tart & Tangy stamp set.  The Chocolate Chip and Pumpkin Pie pad uses the Things I Love stamp set.  Here are the supplies that I used:

Trendy Trees birthday card

Hello Stampers!  I showed you on Saturday one of the cards that we made at Karen's party, and today I wanted to show you the other one.  I totally CASE'd this card off of somebody's blog, but of course I didn't write it down, so I can't give credit right not.  If it's yours, let me know so I can give you credit!  I love it!

This card uses the stamp set Trendy Trees which is on sale for 20% off this month!  Check out my post for April 13th.  Everyone seemed to enjoy making this card.  We also cut out the butterflies using the Beautiful Wings Embosslit die with the Big Shot Machine.  They used which ever butterflies they chose on the card and had extra left over to decorate their envelopes!  Too fun!  Here's the supplies I used:

Wellness Wishes card

Hello Stampers!  Today was Karen's party!  Hello Karen!  She wanted to make a fun get well card.  Look at what I came up with:

Isn't it fun!  I found a card similar to this on Stampin' Connection and thought it was perfect!  Stampin' Connection is a website that is only for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.  We can post cards and scrapbook pages on there to share with other demonstrators.  It is a great way to get ideas to CASE!  This card was perfect because Paper Piecing is the technique that I taught during my Monthly Card classes this month too. 

I used Kaleidoscope designer series paper with the stamp set Wellness Wishes.  Notice the raised dots on the background of the card?  These were done with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine and the Perfect Polka Dot Impressions folder.  Here are the supplies that I used:

One Of A Kind M&M Stackers

Hello Stampers!  I know I have shown you the M & M stackers for different holidays, but I wanted to show you some of them that I made for Spring to sell at my last craft fair.

I used the One Of A Kind stamp set.  I stamped the largest flower and just punched it out with the Scallop Circle punch.  I then stamped the smallest flower and punched it out and layered it on a coordinating color of cardstock circle.  They went over very well!  I made them in primary colors to match the M & M's.

On a personal note, boy has it been a rough couple of days around here.  One of my youngest daughter's classmates committed suicide on Tuesday night.  She was only in 7th grade.  She was on my daughter's team at school, so she had several classes with her and talked to her quite a bit.  It has been really hard on her.  Please hug your loved one's tight and keep Chelsea and her family in your prayers.

Medallion Polished Stone

Hello Stampers!  I was cleaning off my memory card in my camera yesturday, and I realized that I still had my swaps on there from Leadership in January, so I looked back over my blog posts and discovered that I never showed my best swap cards to you!

This card was made with the Medallion stamp set.  I stamped it onto glossy cardstock with a versamark stamp pad and then I embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I then used the Polished Stone technique and added the color to the background.  Didn't it turn out cool? This was the swap that I took the most of, and it went the fastest!

I did several different color schemes and matted them on different colors of cardstock.  I will do a video tutorial soon and post it on here.  Here's the supplies that I used:

Tote-ally Tess Birthday card!

Hello Stampers!  I wanted to show you the third card that we are making in this month's Card Classes. Our technique this month is Paper Piecing, and I thought Tess would be a great one to model for us!

Isn't this a cute card?  I got the idea for this one from Heather's blog!  Thanks Heather!  My club members learned how to paper piece Tess's shirt, pants, and bag.  I wanted to show that there are other things to do with this stamp set besides using her for stamping cards and scrapbook pages.  Remember, Tess is only available until the end of this month since she is in the Occasions mini catalog!  For Tess's balloon, I simply used the 3/4" Circle punch and drew the white on it with the white gel pen and drew the string with a black marker.  Here are the other supplies that I used:

Tin Pail of Goodies!

Hello Stampers! WOW has it been a busy last couple of days!  I spent Friday evening preparing for my craft fair which I did on Saturday.  Sunday, I was busy stamping all day trying to get ready for upcoming classes and parties!  So fun!!!

This is one of the fun items that I had at my craft fair on Saturday: This is just a fun little tin pail which I decorated with some retired rub-ons that I had laying around.  I added one of the cute little M & M stackers inside as well as a Bitty Box that I made with my Big Shot Die-Cut Machine and stuck a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup inside.  Then, I added a cute little 3 X 3 gift card with envelope.  To decorate the items I used the stamp set One Of A Kind.  I used the big flower stamp from the set and punched it out with the Scallop Circle punch.  The middle of the flower is from the same stamp set!  Makes a cute flower don't you think?

Big Shot Class!

Hello Stampers!  I'm so excited to announce that I have a started a new monthly class!  It is a Big Shot Die-Cut Machine class! 

Each month we will be making three items using the Big Shot machine!  We will be making anything from cards, boxes, bags, cartons, candy holders, keychains, etc!  This month we are making a quilt card using the Top Note die, a bird house using the mini milk carton die, and a key chain using the Flower Folds die. 

 

I have seen some really cute things made with the Big Shot, and I'm anxious to share them with you!  I'm so excited about this class!  You do not need to own a Big Shot to take this class.  You can come and simply play with mine!

Vintage Vogue Mother's Day card

Hello Stampers!  WOW what a weekend it was!  We left home at 6 am on Saturday morning and drove 4 hours to Kansas City to pick up my dining room set and go through my grandmother's stuff.  We left there at 3:30 and drove the 4 hours back home!  That was one long day!  On Sunday I was so excited to get my new furniture moved in and everything rearranged and organized, but I'm still not done!  That was way too hard!  When I'm finished, I will show you before and after pictures!
