Easter Mini Milk cartons

Hello Stampers!  I have another fun Easter project to show you!  I have been trying to come up with items to make for the teachers at the middle school for Teacher Appreciation week, and I saw some cute mini milk carton holders.  I didn't really want to do 4 cartons for each teacher, so I made a holder to just hold 2 cartons!  How cute is that?

I love the new Mini Milk Carton die for the Big Shot that is in the Occasions mini catalog!  Too fun!  And the little milk cartons turn out adorable!  It stands about 4" tall and is the perfect size to fill with little candies!

I use the little tiny binder clips to hold my cartons closed so that they can easily be opened and filled.

I used the Scallop Trim Border punch to decorate a strip of cardstock which I placed around the cartons for decoration.

The bunny on the carton holder is from the Eggcourtrements stamp set in the Occasions mini catalog.

A Good Egg Peanut Butter Cup Bitty Box

Hello Stampers!  I found out something new today!  I love days that I make a great discovery!  I just got my new Bitty Box and Envelope die for my Big Shot Die-Cut Machine.  I was playing with it and found out....

that it holds a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup perfectly!  It's like they were made for each other!  So.....

I decided that I needed to decorate the box for Easter!  Isn't it too cute!!!  And as long as I was making one......

I just decided to make six!  I am hosting Easter at my house this year.  See what happens when I am the only one with a house big enough to hold everyone!!!  I am going to make little Easter baskets for the kids, and I thought these would be a really cute filler for them!  I will keep showing you other things that I come up with for their baskets!

I used the cute chick from the A Good Egg stamp set.  I punched it out with the 1 1/4" Circle punch and matted that on the 1 3/8" Circle punch and Scallop Circle punches.  I covered the lids with squares of designer series paper from the Kaleidoscope designer series paper and Pink Flamingo designer series paper packs.

A Good Egg Easter baskets

Hello Stampers!  The countdown is on!  Only 6 more days until Easter!  Have you been looking for a way to make some quick yet cute Easter baskets?  Have I got the answer for you!

Aren't these adorable?  They are so easy and fast to make!  Here's how:

Start with a 6" X 6" piece of designer series paper.

Score your paper on one side at 2" and 4".  Rotate 90 degrees and score again at 2" and 4".

On opposite sides, cut on both of the score lines to the first perpendicular score line.

Fold your sides up and secure part way up with brads.  Cut a handle strip to secure with these brads too inside the basket.

Decorate as desired!

I used the A Good Egg stamp set and colored it in with stampin' write markers.  I punched the chick out with the 1 1/4" Circle punch and mounted that on a piece of cardstock punched with the 1 3/8" Circle punch.  Mount this on cardstock punched out with the Scallop Circle punch.  Adhere these onto the sides of your baskets to cover up your brads.

Welcome Neighbor Kit Kat covers

Hello Stampers?  Did I pique your curiosity by the title of this post?  Chocolate always gets me curious!  I have a picture to show you:

Can you guess what is inside these cute things?  Of course you can, I told you in the title!  They are Kit Kat bars!  Do you want to know how I made them?  I will share my secrets and you will see how incredibly easy these are to make!

I started off with a 6" X 6" piece of designer series paper.  I used the Welcome Neighbor pad from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  Remember, this can be yours free for just placing a $50 order through me before March 31st!  Anywho, place adhesive along three sides of the paper.  Wrap this around your candy bar starting with the un-adhesived side on the candy bar bottom.  Squeeze the ends together and they will stay because of the adhesive!  Stick the ends into your crimper and just turn until it stops you on the candy bar!  It is that easy!  I will try to make a video of it this weekend!  Watch for it!

Stationary Boxes with Baby Cards

Hello Stampers!  What in the world have I been so busy with the last few days that I couln't even post a project???  Good question!  Since my Spring Break was cut short, I just feel like I am so far behind!  I had a whole list of stuff I was going to accomplish over my break, and I only got about half of it done!   So I have been busy playing catch up the last few days!  I finally feel like I'm getting back on track though!  I have most of the day to stamp and play today, so I should have some fun projects to be showing you in the next few days. 

I know several women who are getting ready to have babies!  So, I have been busy making gifts for them!  I love to give thank you cards as a gift!

This set is for one of the mom's in my preschool class this year.  She is ready to deliver any day and they already know that it is a little girl.  Colton is in my class, and he really wanted a little brother since he already has a big sister and a little sister.  But his mom and dad convinced him that being the only boy was a good thing because he and his dad can be the best of buds as the only boys in the family!  Too cute!

I shaped the cards using the Scallop Circle die with my Big Shot!  Have I mentioned lately that I love my Big Shot???

This set is for one of Amie's teachers.  Her last day of work is tomorrow and they don't know if it is a boy or a girl.  The teddy bear stamp is from a retired SU! set called Buttons, Bows and Twinkletoes!  Too cute!  I embossed the white piece of the cards with my Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder and my Big Shot!  This embossing folder is available from the Occasions mini catalog.

Finally, this set is for one of Casie's teachers who is due soon and they know it is a boy!  Don't you just love this little baby from the All In The Family stamp set!

These stationary boxes are the same one's that I did last month for my trivia baskets.  They are easy to make and they hold 8 cards perfectly!

Thoughts & Prayers and Driver's Permit!

Hello Stampers!  You have to see this beautiful get well card that we are making this month in my WOW class!

This card is actually a 5" X 7" card.  We always make larger sized cards in this WOW class.  I just thought this card turned out so pretty! I used the trio flower punch to punch out some flowers to put on the tree.  See how straight my brads are?  This is very easy to accomplish if you use the template from the mat pack as your guide!  Handy tool!  I also sponged my Rose Red stamp pad ink around three edges of the white cardstock so that the contrast wasn't quite so harsh.  Here's the supplies that I used:

I now have some personal information to share!  I didn't get a chance to share this earlier in the week because my grandmother passed away and I had to run out of town for several days.  My oldest daughter, Casie, got her drivers permit!  For those of you that know her, this was a big feat! 

She was so proud of herself!  We have started practicing driving too, which is going great if you don't count the time we were almost the proud owners of a handicap parking space sign!!!

Small Heart punch M & M stackers

Hello Stampers!  Happy St. Patrick's Day!  I have to show you the cute M & M stackers that I made for my girls for St. Patricks Day!

Aren't they fun?  I made these shamrocks using the new Small Heart punch. I drew the stems on freehanded.  Very easy!  I made some Easter stackers too that I had for sale at my craft fair.  I will show you those on another day!

Guest Blogger!

Hello Stampers!  I didn't get any stamping done over the weekend because I spent the entire weekend in Memphis at my daughter's soccer tournament.  How did they do you ask?  They tied their first game 0 - 0, they lost the second game 0 - 2, and they lost their third game 1 - 2.  So, not too good!  But they had fun, even if it was a cold and wet weekend!  On our way out of town, we ran by downtown to have some BBQ on Beale street!  YUM!  One of our favorite places down there is a place called Pork With An Attitude!  Just a block off of Beale street, we saw all of these huge balls placed along the street.  I thought they would make a cute pic, so here it is:

Well, since I didn't have time to get any stamping done this weekend, I thought I would show you a great card that one of my downline, Angela, made at a class she had last week.

Isn't it pretty?  Angela is very talented, Hi Angela!  I love being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator because I get to be inspired by others creations!  These are not colors that I would ever think to put together, but I love them!  Thanks Ang for giving me something to put on my blog today!  I hope you share more in the future!!!

 
 

Something Sweet birthday card

Hello Stampers!  I had a lot of fun coming up with the cards for this month's WOW card class.  I decided that I wanted to do something with the Something Sweet stamp set and the Treat Cups from the Occasions mini catalog.

This is the card that I came up with.  Isn't it fun?  I didn't have any gumballs, but I did have jelly beans, so that got used instead!  I also used the new Scallop Trim border punch from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.

Flower Folds scrapbook page

Hello Stampers!  I just love to scrapbook!  And I'm so glad that I get to have a scrapbook class every month so that I have a reason to keep creating more scrapbook pages!  Here is one of the pages that we will be making at this month's class.

Isn't this a fun spring page?  I think it will be great for birthday pics or just portraits of my girls!  There is not a bit of stamping on this page, it is all done with my Big Shot and punches!  The flowers are all done with the Flower Folds die and the Big Shot.  The Chocolate Chip butterflies are done with the Beautiful Wings embosslit in the Occasions mini catalog.  The Rose Red butterflies are punched with the butterfly punch.  There is also a pretty white lacy look on the top and bottom of the Rose Red squares done with the Scallop Trim Border punch.  Here's  all of the supplies that  used:
