Cardstock and designer series paper flowers card

Hello Stampers!  I wanted to show you one of the cards that we made at my monthly card class this month.  Our technique this month was learning to make cardstock and designer series paper flowers.

Cake Mix With Icing!

Hello Stampers!  Does the title of this post make you hungry?  It sure does me!  I have seen some bloggers make these decorated cake boxes with icing as gifts.  I played with their ideas and came up with my own design that was just as cute but easier to make!

Aren't these fun?  I'm going to make a few of these to have at my craft fair that I am doing in 1 1/2 weeks!  I just used cardstock to cover the front and top of the cake box.  The front is a card that looks like an apron!  It is held on to the front of the box with half of a transparent envelope!  I know that is hard to see in this picture.  That way they can just slide the card up and out of the envelope to read it!  The sprinkles for the cake top are in one of those 1" X 8" bags!  Too fun and very easy to make and mass produce!

With All My Heart tag

Hello Stampers!  Today I want to share with you a fantastic tag that we made as a make & take at Leadership in January.  I think it is so cool and very easy to replicate!

 We used both the stamp set With All My Heart and the new Dot, Dot, Dot stamp from the Occasions mini.  That stamp is one of the under $10 stamps!  We made the scallops by using the 1" circle punch and layering them along the edge.   Here's the supplies that we used:

Valentine My Digital Studio page

Hello Stampers!  I have made a goal of showing you more My Digital Studio pages, so now I'm going to show you one!  We'll call this My Digital Studio Monday! 

This page is the February page from the calendar that I made for my mom for Christmas!  I did the word LOVE as a text box and just picked the font that I wanted.  The hearts inside circles are from the stamp set Holiday Blitz.  I just increased the size of the ones on top.  Too fun and very easy!  If anyone is trying to decide whether to buy this wonderful software, I highly recommend it!  I will gladly get together with you after you receive it and help you learn how to use it!

Cards and Stationary boxes

Hello Stampers!  I have been working really hard today trying to get some baskets put together for trivia nights!  I love to make fun things to put in these baskets!  Today I was busy making cards and stationary boxes.

I made three different sets.  This one features the Nouveau Chic designer series paper and the colors Crushed Curry and Sage Shadow.

This set features the Pink Flamingo designer series paper and the colors Real Red, Whisper White, Basic Black, and Tempting Turquoise.

Finally, this set features the Tall Tales designer series paper and the colors Ballet Blue and So Saffron.

I used the stamp set Happy Moments from the Sale-A-Bration catalog and the Scallop Trim Border punch.  The card design is the same as my birthday cards for February birthdays that I showed a couple of days ago.

For ribbon, I used the Crushed Curry 1/2" Polka-Dot grosgrain ribbon, Brocade Blue and Real Red 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, and the Real Red 1/2" striped grosgrain ribbon.

These are what the boxes looked like up close.  They had to be fairly good size since each one is holding 8 cards.  Very cute with the matching ribbon handle!

Simple Birthday Thanks scrapbook page

Hello Stampers!  I wanted to show one of the scrapbook pages that we will be making in this month's scrapbook class!

Isn't this fun?  I just love these big cupcakes!  If you look at the pic up close, you will see lots of fun things!  There are three brads on the celebrate banner.  To get these evenly spaced and in a straight line, I used the Paper-piercing template in the Mat Pack.  This is a great template for lining up brads, eyelets, etc. and for paper piercing in straight lines!  Wonderful tool!  Look closely at the cherries too!  They are so sparkley!!!  I covered them with liquid glue and sprinkled on Chunky Essentials glitter in Red!  Too fun!  Finally, the cupcake liners are crimped just like the cupcake liners you use at home!  To do this, I simply ran the designer series paper through my Crimper!  Another fun, gotta have tool!  Here's all of the supplies that I used:

Happy Moments birthday cards

Penguin Valentines and More!

Hello Stampers!  Happy Valentine's Day!  I hope that you all have some fun time with your sweeties today!  I wanted to show you the cards and stuff that I made for my family today.

These are the fun little Valentine mailboxes that I made for my girls.  They will hold lots of candy!   I covered them with the Sending Love Specialty designer series paper, cut the hearts out with the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit die with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, and tied a bow around the boxes with the Whisper White Organza Ribbon.

This is the card that I made for my oldest daughter, Casie.  She LOVES penguins!  I saw a card similar to this at Leadership in Phoenix.  The punches I used were the Wide Oval, Large Oval, Small Oval, 1 1/4" Circle, and the 5-Petal Flower punch.  The heart is again the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit die.

This is the card that I made my youngest daughter, Amie.  She LOVES elephants!  This elephant is from the SU! retired set, Wild About You!  The ear is stamped separate and cut out and then popped up with a dimensional.  The heart is also popped up with a dimensional.  The heart is punched out using the new Small Heart punch in the Occasions mini catalog.  I embossed the background white piece of cardstock with the Perfect Polka Dot Textured Impressions Folder in the Occasions mini catalog.  The ribbon is the Real Red 5/8" grosgrain ribbon.

This is the card that I made my dear hubby!  I thought it was cute!  I saw a card similar to this at Leadership in Phoenix also, and decided to make it into a Valentine's Day card.  This card uses the stamp set Fox & Friends from the Occasions mini catalog.  The heart is punched out using the new Small Heart punch.  The branch is Little Leaves Sizzlit die with the Big Shot.  To get my monkeys to turn all different ways, I used my stamp-a-ma-jig.  Instructions for this card are in this month's newsletter.  If you would like to sign up for my newsletter, let me know!

M & M holders

Hello Stampers!  Sorry I didn't post yesturday, I was watching the Opening Ceremony for the Olympics with my family last night!  If you saw it, wasn't it cool?  The visuals were amazing!

I made some M & M holders that I have seen on blogs. 

Aren't they cute?  I didn't give these to anybody yet, so I guess I will put them in my kids Valentine's boxes.  The hardest part was finding the bags that size!  You have to order them online, and most places won't let you order less than like 500!  Who needs 500 bags????  They are 1" X 8" bags if you are interested!  I plan on making these for the Spring craft fairs that I'm getting ready to do!  They are so cute!!!  Here's the supplies I used to make the toppers:

Flower Folds die Valentine treat holder

Hello Stampers!  Tonight is my Dancin' Gals club.  I love these gals, we have so much fun every month!  This month, I made little Valentine treats for them.

Aren't they fun?  I used the Flower Folds die with my Big Shot Die-Cut Machine!  I love this die!  I have wanted it for a long time, and I finally got it!  I ordered it during Sale-A-Bration becuase it alone almost gets you qualified for a free item!  I ran the center white piece through the Big Shot again with the new Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder!  I love that too!

Sending Love Specialty designer series paper Twist Box

Hello Stampers!  I made the cutest box for Valentine's Day and I just have to show it to you today!

Isn't this fun?  It's called a Twist Box.  I made it using the new Sending Love Specialty designer series paper.

In this pic you can see the ends better and see why they cll it a Twist Box.  It is very easy to do, just a lot of folds when you start.  Here's the supplies that I used:

Top Note candy holders

Hello Stampers!  WOW what a busy day this was!  We got a few inches of snow last night, so the kids were home from school today.  My new puppy, Emmie, just loves playing in the snow!  The girls had her out several times today to play, even though our high temperature was only 18 degrees!

I can't believe how big she is getting!  And heavy too!  We have nicknamed her Chubs!!

On to stamping!  I worked hard today trying to get all of the girls teacher's Valentine's gifts done as well as their baskets for the school offices and my Valentine's for my preschool class! 

These are the Top Note candy holders that I made for all of their teachers.  They were fun to make!  The outside is made from the Top Note die with the Big Shot.  The cardstock was 10" long and folded in half and run through the Big Shot.  That gave me a double Top Note.  I embossed the entire thing with the new Perfect Polka Dots Impressions folder in the Occasions mini catalog.  Inside is the bottom piece to the Matchbox die with the Big Shot.

This is what it looked like looking inside from the top.  We filled little bags with chocolates to stash inside.

Here is all of them that I made.  For the outsides, I decorated some with the Embosslits Scallop Heart of Hearts die.  Some were decorated with designer series paper that was cut out with the Heart to Heart punch.

LOVE Banner

Hello Stampers!  I am in a Bunco group and January was my month to host.  We give away cash prizes except for the prize for the most baby buncos.  For that, the hostess is responsible for coming up with a gift. I decided this time that I would make a gift, and since it was so close to Valentine's Day, I made a Valentine's decoration!

I made this with round coasters.  I simply covered them with a scallop circle die cut out of some retired designer series paper that I had!  I cut the letters out with my Big Shot and the Serif Essentials Alphabet dies.  Each letter is decorated a little differently, here they are up close:

This is one of the hearts from the Heart to Heart punch.

This is one of the felt pieces from the Sweet Pea stitched felt package in the Occasions mini catalog.

This butterfly is punched with the Butterfly punch.

These are the other two hearts from the Heart to Heart punch.

I love these colors because they are nontraditional Valentine's colors.  The letters are strung together with the Chocolate Chip 1" Double stitched grosgrain ribbon.  I used a Crop-A-Dile to punch my holes through the coasters.  Here's all of the supplies that I used:
