Christmas Card Friday!

Hello Stampers!  I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  How many of you got up and went shopping early this morning like I did???  I was actually walking out the door this morning with my mom, sister, and sister in law at 3:30 a.m.!  Is that crazy or what???  We do it every year though and we love it!!  Leave me a comment and let me know how many other crazies there are out there besides us!!!

Happy Thanksgiving Turkey!

Hello Stampers!  Happy Thanksgiving to one and all!  I hope that you are spending some time enjoying your family!  I am taking a small break from mine to make this post!  And taking a break is not easy to do!  There are 12 of us at my house right now!  6 of which are kids!  Now and until Saturday!  We are having a blast though!  Wouldn't trade it for anything!

Isn't this a fun box?  I received this as a swap at convention this year!  He was in pieces and I just put him together!  His feathers are made from the scallop circle with the Big Shot.  His body is the 1 3/4" circle punch and his head is the 1 3/8" circle punch.  Enjoy your day!

 

Advanced Punch Bunch

Isn't he cute???  I saw him on somebodys blog (sorry I can't remember who's!) and he was on a scrapbook page.  I thought he would be a really cute birthday card!  He is done with all punches!

Cold & Cuddly Medallion

Hello Stampers!  WOW what a weekend it was!  I got a lot accomplished, and I came home tired!  I'm already looking forward to going again in the Spring!  First though, I do want to give you the supplies I used for the card that I posted in the last post on Christmas Card Friday.

To get the red on top of the embossed piece, I used the snowflake looking stamp from the Delightful Decorations stamp set.  I just inked it up and stamped it on every raised image.  It turned out really great!

Christmas Card Friday!

Hello Stampers!  Just wanted to add a quick post for my Christmas Card Friday! I'm getting ready to leave for my scrapbooking retreat weekend!  I'm so excited!  I always get so much done on these weekends since I don't have to cook, clean, or answer to "Hey mom" for the whole weekend!

Isn't this  a pretty card?  This uses the Holy Triptych stamp set.  I also used the Petals-A-Plenty embossing folder to emboss the background paper, then I stamped over the top of it!  Too cool huh???  I'll give you the supplies in the next post!

 

The More The Merrier card

Hello Stampers!  I have a really cute Christmas card to show you today!  I didn't get to stamp for fun much today.  I STILL have a sick kid at home!  Can you believe that today is DAY 8 of her fever!!!!!  She is feeling a little better, we just can't seem to get that fever to break!  Still no school tomorrow for her.  I also have been getting ready for my Scrapbooking class tomorrow and my party with Linda tomorrow night!

If you click on the pic to make it bigger, you can see the glitter on the snow and on the snowmen!    That is easy to do!  Just use your 2 way glue pen to put glue where you want your glitter, and sprinkle it on!  It's that simple!  Here's the supplies I used:

Punch Bunch items for November

Hello Stampers!  Where has the time gone?  What in the world have I been doing?  Sunday was my Holiday Vendor Fair!  We had a great time!  We didn't have a ton of people show up, but we did have some who were here to do their Christmas shopping, and they did!  I was really tired when it was over, so I didn't get a post done.  I can't even tell you what I did yesturday!

Today I want to show you a couple of the punch items that we did in this monmth's class.

Christmas card Friday on a Saturday!

Happy Birthday Amie!

Hello Stampers!  Well, yesturday was my baby girl's birthday!  She is now officially a teenager!  And do you want to see how she spent her day?

Yep, she stayed home from school sick with the flu!!!  She is not a happy camper!  You can tell that Emmie liked her being home though!  She is still sick today so we have had to cancel the family party and friend party plus she missed two soccer games today and practices Wednesday and Thursday evenings!  She is tired of being sick!  I did make her a birthday card which cheered her up some though.

Amie loves elephants!  So when I saw this on a blog, I knew I had to put it on a card for her!  He's so cute!!!  Here's the punches that I used:

On the 6th week of Christmas...

my true love gave to me, a holder just for my candy!

Hello Stampers!  This week I want to show you how to make a really sweet Hershey's kisses holder!  You can have it just sit, or add a hanger on it for an ornament!

Isn't it fun?  Here's how I made it!

Start off with a piece of cardstock that is 4 1/2" X 2 3/4".  I ran mine through the Big Shot in my Petals-A-Plenty embossing folder.  I love that folder!  I then scored it at 1 1/4", 2 1/4", and 3 1/2".

Fold along your score lines.  It should look like this!

I placed a row of sticky strip along the bottom edge for my Hershey's kisses and I added a cord so that it can be used as an ornament.  Fold it up and adhere it together in a triangle using sticky strip.

Decorate the outside as desired.  I used my Jumbo Snowflake punch with a Real Red brad in the center.  I made a banner using the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  Here's all of the supplies I used:

Christmas punch tags

Hello Stampers!  I finally got a little bit of stamping done again today!  I have been sick with something for the past three days, so I haven't felt like doing a whole lot.  Plus......

 we have a new family member!  I know, it has only been about a month and a half since we lost Maddie, but we were all missing having a dog around so much, that we had to have another one!  My daughter Casie just insisted that we get a rescued puppy, she found a rescue site that has small puppies here in St. Louis.  I gave her this whole list of things that I wanted in a puppy, thinking it would take her quite awhile to find one that met all of my criteria, but darned if she didn't find one right away!  The girls and I went to look at her Monday evening, and I knew full well that there was no way that I could walk out of that place without a puppy in my arms!  So... this is Emmie!  She is a Cava-poo.  She is absolutely adorable!  I will be showing you more pics of her later too!

I also made some Christmas tags today to sell in my Vendor Holiday Fair and at my craft fairs.

Autumn Splendor card

Hello Stampers!  Don't you just love the new fall stamp set in the Holiday mini catalog, Autumn Splendor?  I love all of the veins in the leaves and I knew the minute that I saw it that I had to have it so that I could do the baby wipe and reinker technique.  Let me know how you think it turned out?

Christmas Card Friday!

Hello Stampers!  Tonight was my monthly get together with my Dancin' Gals club!  We made a gorgeous card which I saw in one of my last issues of my Stampin' Success magazine.  Every month, as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, we receive a magazine which is packed full of samples, business articles, techniques, and tons of ideas!
