My true love gave to me, a hot chocolate holder, yummy!
Hello Stampers! Today I'm starting my 12 weeks of Christmas posts! Can you believe that Christmas is only 12 weeks away!!! Time to get your gift making started! Today I'm going to show you how to make this really cute Hot chocolate holder!
Each year I make hot chocolate holders to sell at craft fairs and to my customers! They always seem to look forward to what design I can come up with each year! This year, I am making a matchbook style holder. I found this on someone's blog, and as soon as I find my paper on it, I will give credit! Here's how to make one:
1 - Start off with a 12" X 4 1/2" piece of cardstock. Score it at 1 1/2" and 6 3/4".
2 - I used my 1 3/8" square punch and pushed it in all of the way from both sides to make my window.
3 - I attached my hot chocolate packed to the main section with a strip of double stick tape. Staple the top flap closed very close to the fold. This will give the support to keep the matchbook closed. I put mini marshmallows in a small ziploc baggie that was 2" X 3 1/2". It will perfectly hold 12 mini marshmallows! I attached them so that they fit in the window and secured them with a strip of double stick tape on one side.
4 - I stamped snowflakes all over the outside and stamped the snowmen to fit on the flap. I also applied glitter in the snow to give it a little bling! Here's the recipe:
Stamp Set - The More the Merrier, Snow Buddies
Cardstock - Bashful Blue, Pretty In Pink, White
Stamp pad - Black, Almost Amathyst
Accessories - Glitter, 2 way glue pen, markers, 1 3/8" square punch
Happy Stampin' and TTFN!
