Hello Stampers! Don't you just love Spring? I'm going to stay in my stamping room and stamp all day and just ignore the forecast for 2"- 4" of snow tonight. If I don't think about it, hopefully it won't happen!
Speaking of Spring, I just have to tell you about the little visitor that we had at preschool yesturday. One of the little girls in my class has been talking about this baby squirrel that she has! We weren't real sure whether this was real or not, so when mom came to pick her up we asked! Sure enough, they found a baby squirrel that had either fallen or been pushed out of its nest! Mom is an Environmental Scientist, so I assume that means she knew what to do! Anywho, they are keeping this baby squirrel in a shoe box. When I had asked the mom about it, she said that she had just finished feeding it, and that it was in the car! They feed that squirrel from a bottle every two hours, around the clock! I asked her if she could bring it in and she said sure! So, we got a visit from a baby squirrel! And let me tell you, baby squirrels look nothing like a squirrel! It was about 1 month old, and it's eyes weren't open yet. It had very little hair and a long tail. I looked like a baby hamster. I only wish I had had my camera so that I could have taken a pic for you! It was so cute! Too cool!
Speaking of cute, this is a project that I have been working on today. Remember my friend Rene,
who owns a Cartridge World store, well she told me that she was ready for her little Spring goodies. Every season I make her 100 little goodies to stick inside of her sales bags. So this is what I came up with! It is a little Hershey Nugget bar. I just covered it with a piece of designer series paper and topped them off with a flower punched with the Trio Flower punch and a brad stuck in it! Isn't it cute???
Well, I'm off now to start working on some more items for my upcoming craft fair!
Happy Stampin' and TTFN!
