Hello Stampers! Man is it ever cold here! Our high in St. Louis today was 13 degrees! I know it is colder in other places, but have I ever mentioned how much I hate cold weather! Give me summer and a beach any day!!! Since it has been so cold, it has been great weather to stay home and stamp! Or as in todays case, stay home and pour over the new SU! catalog!!! I can't wait for you all to get your hands on this one!! I started my wish list and it is already two pages long! And my wish list always seems to grow when I start seeing the great projects that everybody else comes up with too!!! Here's some of my must haves in the new catalog: (and by the way, every stamp set is now die cut so there is no more cutting your stamps!)
Lots of great new sets with birds and owls! I have never really been into birds and owls (which is kind of funny considering I have a pet bird!), but after seeing some of these sets, I've got to have them!
Some really fantabulous new wheels! They will make great backgrounds on cards and scrapbook pages! They even match with some of the stamp sets that I already have!
Wonderful new designer series papers! Lots of new yummy packs that I must have!
New colors of the 1/2" striped grosgrain ribbon! Do I hear another ribbon share coming????
Several new punches that I can't wait to get and incorporate into my Punch Bunch club!
TONS of new dies for the Big Shot! Boxes, bags, textures, and alphabets!!!
Let me know if you need a copy of the new Idea book and Catalog!!!
I have been working really hard the last couple of days putting together some silent auction baskets for some local trivia nights coming up. I love to put together baskets to donate because it helps raise
money for some great clubs and organizations, and it helps get my name out there! I have donated four in the last week! I hope whoever gets my baskets will enjoy the items that I have made! I tried to include a variety of items such as cards and candy holders, plus I always include a catalog and gift certificate so that they can order things that they want!
This is a card that I came up with today. I included one of them in the baskets too! I was very pleased with the way it came out. I used the Key Tag punch to make the vase. The felt flowers are from the Flower Fusion Too kit. I love these colors! Here's the rest of the recipe:
Stamp sets - Eastern Blooms, Sincere Salutations
Cardstock - Pretty In Pink, White, Sage Shadow
Stamp pad - Chocolate Chip
Accessories - Flower Fusions Too, Key Tag punch, Ticket Corder punch, 1/16" hole punch, gold brads, mini glue dots
Don't forget that I'm drawing for my Free Card Friday tomorrow! Leave me a message if you want to be included in the drawing!
Happy Stampin' and TTFN!
