Hello Stampers! This is the second post of the day! You'd think I had nothing else to do with my life!!! But I do love my blog! The tool today is not really a tool, but it's still something I use a lot and I couldn't make cards without it! It's ribbon! I love all of SU!'s ribbons! You can use ribbon in lots of ways. For instance, I used 1/4" grosgrain ribbon on the clipboard frames that I showed you on the last post to spruce up the handles. They would be rather plain and boring without it.
I love this cute little Hershey's
nugget purse with the taffeta ribbon
handle. The ribbon makes it look so fancy!
baby card is
rather plain
without ribbon.
But here it is with a little light blue gingham ribbon, and it really helps to soften the card. I use ribbon on probably 80% of the cards that I make. To help you use lots of ribbon too, I'm going to start a ribbon share. Here are the details:
Ribbon Share
Share #1 - 5/8" striped grosgrain ribon (page 186 of current catalog) - $16
You'll get 3 yards each of the six different colors (riding hood red, pink pirouette, baja breeze, pacific point, kiwi kiss, & tangerine tango). That's a total of 18 yards of ribbon!
Share #2 - Gingham ribbon (page 187 of current catalog) - $13
You'll get 3 yards each of the six different colors (black, red, light blue, light pink, moss, & caramel). That's a total of 18 years of ribbon!
What a great way to have ribbon in lots of colors without having to buy a whole spool of each color! You can see the ribbon in the current catalog by clicking on the picture of the catalog in my left hand margin. If you are interested, please e-mail me and let me know before Monday Oct. 6.
Happy Stampin' and TTFN!
