Hello Stampers! I'm so glad that I got my teacher's gifts done today! I attended a PTO meeting at my daughter Amie's middle school a couple of weeks ago. They were talking about a teacher's appreciation luncheon and before I could stop myself I volunteered to make gifts for ALL of the teachers in the school! After I volunteered I looked around to see if I had really said that out loud and if anyone else had heard it! And of course, every one was looking at me with that look like "that poor woman, she doesn't even know what she is doing!" So I had to come up with something really cute that the teacher's would use and that wouldn't make me go broke in the process! I got this great idea from one of my favorite blogs to look at, chicnscratch.typepad.com! I thought these post-it note holders were darling! They are made with designer series paper covering a heavy weight coaster! I covered the binder clip on both sides with more designer series paper. I punched out flowers with the Boho Blossom punch and tied ribbon on the clip! I love the way they turned out! I also made some masculine ones using the small star punch and Prestwick designer series paper! I think this is something that is not only going to look cute sitting on their desk, but that they will use it too! This next picture shows what 60 of them look like! I
hope you have as much fun making them as I did!
Tomorrow I leave for Kansas City for the Regional SU! convention. I'm really excited! I will show you in my next post what swaps I'm taking with me! When I return, I will have tons of neat things to show you and share with you!
I know I promised that I would tell you about my new card kits, but you're going to have to wait a little longer for the details! I will tell you though that it will be well worth the wait!!!
Happy Stampin' and TTFN!
