Wedding car gift card holder

Hello Stampers!  Do you remember the wedding I was talking back back in May?  It was a really good friend of mine's daughter.  I wanted to make her some super cute gifts because she is crafty also, and I knew that she would appreciate all of the time and energy put into her gifts!  I have to show you this super cute Wedding gift card holder that I recently made!  It is a convertible wedding car!  Super cute!

IMG_0580 This is a picture of the side of the car.

IMG_0581 This is the front of the car.

IMG_0582 This is the back of the car with the cans hanging off!  If you pull open the trunk holding on to the trailer hitch, it opens up and the gift card fits snuggly inside!  The cans were made using our silver foil paper.  Perfect!

IMG_0583 This is the inside of the car!  Don't you just love it!!!

I made the car in the wedding colors which were yellow and gray.  I got the tutorial for this from Lorri's site!  I can't wait for another wedding to come up so that I can make another one of these fun projects!  It did take me quite awhile to do, but Lorri's directions were very clear and easy to follow!

July team meeting show n' tells

Hello Stampers!  Sunday was our July team meeting.  At every meeting, everyone is encouraged to bring with them some projects that they have been working on.  Everyone loves to see what everybody else is up to, and it gives us some great ideas!  Here are some of this month's projects:

IMG_1510 This is a super cute little washcloth cupcake that Laura made as a wedding shower gift!  Super cute!

IMG_1512 This is a fun card that Lisa made.  She used the Work of Art stamp set.  Have I mentioned before how much I love this stamp set???  I think I'm going to have to CASE this card!

IMG_1516 This is a fun card that Karen made using the Word Bubble Framelits.  I think I'm going to have to CASE this card too!

Laura brought a scrapbook album that she has been working on using some of the Project Life products!  I thought I had taken a photo of it, but I guess I didn't.  I'm definitely going to have to give this a try!

Everyone who attended Convention brought their swap cards!  We had hundreds of cards there for everybody to look at, take pictures of, and get inspired by!  We hold these meetings in a local restaurant, and some of the employees were coming back to look at some of our samples!  What better way to get the word out about what we do and love!!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Wedding gifts

Hello Stampers!  Remember a few days ago, I was telling you about the wedding that I went to of a friend of mine's daughter?  Well, I want to show you some of the gifts that I made for her!

IMG_0587-002 This is an ornament that I made using their wedding invitation!  I simply cut the invitation into strips, curled them using my bone folder, and then put them into a clear glass ornament.  Then I simply tied a piece of daffodil delight ribbon around the top!  Super cute and what a great keepsake!

IMG_0595-003 This is a frame that I made in My Digital Studio using the Meant To Be downloads.  It was super easy to use and there are several wedding downloads available.  I printed it out in black ink on a Crumb Cake piece of cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by!

Wedding card

Hello Stampers!  Recently, a really close friend of mine's daughter got married.  Of course, I had to make her a card!

One of my favorite wedding cards to make the the intertwining hearts card.

IMG_0584-001 This is what the card looked like closed.  The background is actually a patterned yellow piece of designer series paper.

IMG_0585-001 This is what it looks like opening up.

IMG_0586-001 Here is the inside.

I simply laid all of the Heart Framelits on a piece of cardstock all at the same time and ran it through the Big Shot.  Starting with the largest heart, take every other one and adhere them to the front of the card, alternating which side of the heart is adhered to the card front.

I added an extra heart to the inside of the card.  Super easy and fun to make!
