Framed punch art

Hello Stampers!  Darn it!  I missed another day of posting!  This is harder than I thought to post 5 days a week!  Let's keep at it until I get it right!!!  Tomorrow I'll show the next stamp set that I will be giving away!

Today I wanted to show you a gift that my upline gave me at Convention.  It is just a fun thing that we do every year, make gifts for other demonstrators!

IMG_5180 It is a framed art piece.  Isn't it cute?  And look at the other inserts she made:

IMG_5181 I think that they are super cute!  Thanks again Jeri!

Jeri likes to do punch art and our gifts and her swaps usually involve some type of punch art.

Halloween & Fall cards

Hello Stampers!  My team recently held a swap and the theme was Halloween or Fall cards.  Want to see what we made?

IMG_1806 Pat V. made this card.  The inside pulls out for the card!  Love it!

IMG_1807 Karen made this card!  Love that she used the Project Life Holiday Cheer stamp set for her card!  It shows the versatility of this fun set!

IMG_1808 Laura made this great card!  We can always count on Laura to use washi tape on her cards!  She also used the Project Life Holiday Cheer stamp set.

IMG_1809 Not sure who made this card, but I love the fall colors!

IMG_1810 Lisa's card is an invitation for a Halloween party!  Don't you love the rhinestones in the eyes!

IMG_1811 Don't know who made this card.  I love the use of the Holiday Home stamp set as haunted hauses!

IMG_1805 This is the card that I made.  I used the Seasonally Scattered stamp set with the Baby Wipe technique.  I took a baby wipe and put on drops of inker to make my own stamp pad.  If you would like a video on this technique, just let me know and I'll see what I can do!

Thanks for stopping by to look at my swaps!  I love swapping with my team!

Thanksgiving Banner

Hello Stampers!  Happy Thanksgiving!  I hope that you have all had a great day eating way too much food and spending time with your friends and families!

Every year, we travel down to Nashville to spend the Thanksgiving weekend with my sister and her family.  I always take a craft for the kids to do if they want to.  I always know that my nephew Marcus will be right there helping!

IMG_0823-001 This year I downloaded the Feast of Thanks download from My Digital Studio.  We made name tents for the table and a cool Thanksgiving banner.  Here are some close ups of the banner:

IMG_0826-001 Every person in the family got a square that says "This year I am thankful for" and we all wrote what we are thankful for.  Even the little kids wrote theirs and were really thoughtful in their answers!

We took a family picture with our banner outside, but I don't have one of these pictures on my camera.  When I do get one downloaded to the computer, I will post it for you!

Speaking of team, yesterday was our team meeting.  We always have someone bring a make n' take for the group, and here is this month's:

IMG_0434-002 Thanks Pat for bringing such a great card!

IMG_0435-003 Here is my card.  I made a boo boo when I stamped the leaf, so I had to move my greeting!  The stamp we used is the Magnificent Maple (w-131868).  This is a great stamp and it stamps so beautifully every time!

This was a fun technique that Pat taught us!  Take the stamp pad directly to the stamp only covering a portion of it.  Repeat with all the other colors.  Be sure to start with the lightest color first!

Thanksgiving place cards

Hello Stampers!  Every year I make Thanksgiving goodies to sit on the dinner table at everybody's place.  This year I made these cute little guys.  They have a mint pattie sandwiched in between the layers.

P1090412-1They were pretty simple to make, and I even made some to sell at my craft fairs this year that were before Thanksgiving.

The turkey body is a 1 3/8" circle (119860), the feathers are the scallop circle (119854), the head is a 1" circle (119868), the hat is a 3/4" X 3/4" square, the brim is from the 1" square (124094), the feet are the Boho Blossom (119858), and the waddle is the Heart to Heart (119881).

If you still need some of these punches to be able to make your own turkeys in the future, hop over to my Inkin With Dink online store and order yours today!
