Team meeting make n' takes

Hello Stampers!  Every month I host a team meeting and one of the fun things that we do it some make n' take projects! There are typically four projects that we make.  Here are the projects that we made at the April meeting:

Succulant card, Inkin With DInk I love this card!  We used the Succulent Garden designer series paper for all three of our projects.  The flowers are punched from the Pansy punch and the Blossom builder punch.

explosion box, Inkin With Dink This is an explosion card!  These are always fun to make!  We took a 6" X 6" piece of cardstock and scored it at 2" and 4".  Then turn 90 degrees and again score at 2" & 4".

explosion box, Inkin With Dink This is what you see when you take the top off of the box.

Oh So Succulent card, Inkin With Dink I love this card too!  Still the Succulent Garden designer series paper and the Pansy punch.  All of the greetings from the projects were from the All Things Thanks stamp set.  Luckily this stamp set will be carried over into the new catalog!

Thanks for stopping by!

April Paper Pumpkin kit

Hello Stampers!  I have been super busy this week prepping for my Sale-a-bration Celebration tomorrow!  I'm so excited for it!  I have almost 30 ladies coming!!  I will have pictures later.  Today I wanted to share with you what I did yesterday morning.  Every month, on the last Thursday of the month, I have a meetup at a local Bread Company for my Paper Pumpkin subscribers to bring their kits and work on them.

Here is what I did yesterday:

April Paper Pumpkin kit This is the April kit, and I think I have to say it is one of my favorites!  As I was doing the watercoloring, I wasn't so sure, but when I added it to the black card bases, they really popped!  Love them!

Would you like to subscribe to this wonderful monthly kit?  It is only $19.95 per month and it is delivered directly to your door.  Every thing you need to complete the kit is provided except for some adhesive.  And you certainly can't beat 12 cards for $20 dollars!!  You just have to sign up by the 10th of the month to receive that month's kit, so be sure to contact me by May 10th!

Avant Garden thank you

Hello Stampers!  My upline, Jeri, recently moved away to Wisconsin.  She doesn't have any local team members to stamp or swap with, so she had asked if she could swap with my team.  We said sure because the more cards the better right???  So every month Jeri mails me her swap cards, we swap them, and then I send them back to her.  Periodically she will send me a thank you card.  I love receiving these cards because she does beautiful work on her stamping!  Here is the latest card that she sent me:

IMG_8460-001 She used the Avant Garden stamp set which is one of my favorite from the Sale-a-bration brochure!  It is beautiful Jeri, thank you!

Stamping Vacation

Hello Stampers!  Did you read the title to this post?  It sounds like I'm going to be taking a vacation from stamping doesn't it?  Well, no way!!!  I love to stamp and I love it when I can stamp every day!  Who could possibly want to take a vacation from it?  Not me!

Any way, Stamping Vacation is where I was this last weekend!  A couple of demonstrators (Julie Davison and Meg Loven) put on this fabulous stamping day every year in Champaign, Illinois every year and I was lucky enough to be able to attend this year again.  I went to it a couple of years ago and loved it and so wanted to go again!  It is a day long event filled with stamping, demonstrations, business tips, etc.

Want to see some pictures?

IMG_7570 I thought this little flag was so cute!

IMG_7511 Here is a picture of me and my team member Julie who went with me this year!

IMG_7466 This was a sample of the Smack Down technique!

Work of Art thank you card

Hello Stampers!  I recenty needed to make some thank you cards, and couldn't come up with any ideas!  So as I was looking through Facebook, I came across a card that a friend of mine, Robin Armbrecht, had made.

I loved it, so I had to CASE it!  I changed the colors and sentiment and came up with this beauty!

IMG_7330 This card uses the Work of Art stamp set in some of the new In-colors.  The top splotch and the heart are stamped in Peakaboo Peach.  The long swish is in Dapper Denim.  The bottom splotch is stamped in Flirty Flamingo and the thank you is from the Tin of Cards stamp set and stamped in Black.

Thanks for stopping by!
