Painted Harvest samples

Hello Stampers!  Well I was whisked away this weekend to see my daughters, so no work got done!  Instead I spent the weekend shopping, baking, doing crafts, and watching our favorite shows!!  It was so great to see them both and spend time with them!  I miss them both so much!

I did not get a chance to show you some other alternative projects using the Painted Harvest stamp set.  So, here they are:

Painted Harvest, Inkin With DinkI love the way this card turned out!  For the flowers I used Soft Sky and Marina Mist.  The middle of the flower was stamped in Sahara Sand.  Beautiful sympathy cards!!

Painted Harvest, Inkin With Dink

These are fun little bags I made for my crop in September.  I try to make a little pillow gift every month.  I simply stamped the flower in Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry and punched it out with a circle punch.  Our 2" X 8" cello bags hold the bite sized candy bars just perfectly!  So fun!

Thanks for stopping by!  Don't forget that I'm making my Mail A Card Monday on my Inkin With Dink Stampers Facebook group tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.  Click on the link to join our fun group!!

Painted Harvest sympathy cards

Hello Stampers!  I was busy making cards last week for some upcoming classes, and I pulled out the Painted Harvest stamp set.  I had fun trying different colors combinations on the flowers!

Here are three color combinations that I tried:

Painted Harvest, Inkin With Dink

The far left one is Wisteria Wonder for the background color and Perfect Plum for the highlights.  The middle card is Blushing Bride for the background color and Calypso Coral for the highlights.  The far right card is Pool Party for the background color and Marina Mist for the highlights.  The leafstamps are Pear Pizzazz and Wild Wasabi.

Which combination do you like the best???  Leave me a comment and let me know!  I'm thinking the purple card is the one I will use for class, unless it us unanimous for another combination!

Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to leave me a comment and vote!  I'll draw a winner next week and the winner will win the card in the color combination of their choice!!

Cards 4 Faith

Hello Stampers!  Every month I get together with a group of ladies who love to stamp and make cards, and we make cards for my church and for the local Ronald McDonald Houses.  We have a great time and get lots of cards completed every time!  Here is one of the cards that we worked on today:

sympathy card, Thoughts & Prayers, Inkin With DInk

Me and my co-leader, Julie, design the cards.  Some of the cards we precut the cardstock so it is all ready to stamp and put together.  Some of the cards have nothing done so that some can cut the cardstock.  Everyone who attends has certain tasks that they like to do and we try to accomodate them!

If you are in the area and would like to join us sometime, we always meet the third Monday of the month!  Come help us out!

Hello Stampers!  Some of you know that we have been through some sad times here in the Lanzendorf house.  Last Friday, my stepfather passed away quite unexpectedly.  I have been out of town for several days and am getting ready to leave again for a few days.

I have to say that I have some of the nicest friends and family.  I have received some beautiful cards.  These are some of the handmade cards:

Black & White Thoughts & Prayers

Hello Stampers!  Well it won't be long now until the next Stampin' Up! OnStage event!  This is the new name for our Convention.  Next month it will be held in Salt Lake City and I'm so excited to attend again!  This will be the first live event since they changed the format last year.

One thing that we love to do at Convention is swapping.  We all make tons of cards and take them and trade them with other demonstrators so that we bring home tons of samples!  It is so fun!  I like to sign up for organized swaps too.  That means we have a set group of people who get together at a certain time and location and swap with each other.  I have entered myself into a black & white swap again this year.  I have gotten such great cards at these in the past.

So now to the main point of this post.  I need your help!  For this certain swap that I joined, we were to make a black & white card with one additional color.  I have my card design picked out, I just can't decide on a color!  Can you help a stamper out?  Here are the one's I have come up with:

The extra colors are Melon Mambo, Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight, and Real Red.  PLEASE leave me a comment and let me know which one you like the best!

Thanks for your help!

Birthday, Baptism, Thank You, & Sympathy cards

Hello Stampers!  A few month's ago, I started a card ministry community at my church.  I lead a monthly get together where we make cards for the church staff and other community leaders to use.  It is fun designing the cards every month for the members to make.  I have a helper, Julie, who helps design and prep.  I thought it would be fun to show you some of the cards that we have designed and made so far.  We have actually made hundreds of cards!  I will show you some today, and come back tomorrow to see some more!

If you are local, we would love to have you come join us for our card making!  You do not need to be a member of our church to come and have fun with us!  Contact me for some more information and come make cards with us!

Weekly Deals & Cards 4 Faith

Hello Stampers!  There are some great new products this week on the Weekly Deals list!  Just remember that these sale prices are only good through next Monday, September 28th.  Click the link below to check out this week's deals!

Weekly deals

This last week I started a new card ministry at my church.  We will gather monthly to make cards for the church to use.  We already have huge requests for kid's birthday card, baptism cards, sympathy cards, and adult birthday cards.  Our card community is called Cards 4 Faith.

Monday was our first meeting, and I really had no idea what to expect!  I have a good friend, Julie, who is helping me out.  We both came up with two simple card designs and cut supplies for 20 - 30 cards each.  We made them fairly simple not knowing what the stamping experience would be for those who attended.

We had three lovely women show up for our first meeting.  They all had tons of card making and stamping experience, so the five of us set out making cards.  Before our two hour time limit was up, we had completed 90 cards!  That's right, 90 cards!

I was absolutely thrilled with the outcome!  Plus now I know that we don't need to do as much prep work for the next class!  Here are some close up pics of the four cards we made:

Thanks for stopping by today!  If you are local to St. Louis and would like to join us for our next Cards 4 Faith community, we meet on the third Monday of the month at both 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
