Lego Birthday

Hello Stampers!  I just wanted to show you the super cute box that Shelli showed on her blog recently!

She made this for her grandson and put money in it!  It is a matchbox so basically a box bottom with a belly band!  All you have to do is add some circle punches on the top with dimensionals and you have an instant lego!

Super cute Shelli!  Thanks for sharing!

Happy Easter!

Hello Stampers!  Happy Easter!  I hope that you have all had a fun day with family and friends!  We have!  We started the day going to church, and then we came home and decorated 200 cake pops!  Why you ask?  My youngest daughter Amie, loves to bake, and she often gets orders from people for her products!  This latest one, was the biggest by far!  She was asked to make 200 cake pops for a volunteer luncheon!  The best part was that they wanted them to look like the earth!  Come back tomorrow and see how they turned out!

Today I wanted to show you an Easter card that we made in my kid's class this month.

IMG_0382 The girl's had fun making these.

IMG_0383 Here is what the inside of the card looks like.  The cute stamp set that I used is Eggstra Spectacular (w-133068 c-133071).  And of course the little pom pom for the bunny tail makes the whole card!!

We also made an Easter candy holder that was super cute!  Hop over to my Inkin With DInk Facebook page to see it!

Preschool Thank You cards

Hello Stampers!  I recently had to make some thank you cards for all of my end of the year preschool gifts.  I had received a swap very similar to this, and thought it would be perfect!

P1140125  Isn't he adorable???  I used the 1 1/4" circle punch (119861) for the body segments and the Boho Blossoms punch (119858) for the antlers.  The eyes were punched from the Owl Builder punch (118074).

I was so excited to see that the Polka Dot Parade designer series paper (126902) was carried over to the current catalog!  I LOVE it!

No Peeking card and Game remote card

Hello Stampers!  Some of you know that I sent my oldest daughter away to college this year.  She is having a tough time with being homesick, so I sent her a goodie box last week.  And, you know that I had to send her a card too!

My good friend Lisa, recently showed me how to make a 3 Layer Card, so I decided to try that technique and make Casie a card.  I had to of course use a penguin, since Casie LOVES penguins!  And I LOVE the penguin in the new No Peeking stamp set (126290) in the catalog!

P1120491What do you think?  Casie loved the card!

Casie's roommate Hannah is a really sweet girl, and she is really into her gaming systems, so I decided to make her a card too!

P1120490Can you guess what Hannah's favorite color is?  She loved her card too.  I got this card idea from my downline, Sarah, who made one of these too.

I've decided to start doing some monthly give aways, so I'm going to start on my blog!  All you have to do this month is leave a comment on my blog sometime this week!  That's right, just leave a comment on one of my posts this week, and your name will be entered into a drawing to win this stamp set for FREE!

Kid's cards

Hello Stampers!  I have mentioned before that I love it when my customers bring their cards to show me that they have created.  I love to be inspired too!

At my last kid's class, I told them that if they created cards on their own and brought them back to show me, I would give them a free stamp!  Here are some more creations that I got back:

P1120503These are the cards that Hannah created.

P1120504These are the cards that Rachael created.

Aren't they adorable??

Kid's Class

Hello Stampers!  Last Tuesday was my final Kid's and Pre-teen's Stamp Class for the summer.  I'm sure going to miss them!  I will hold another one the week between Christmas and New Year's so watch for more information!

P1120369I love this super cute card!  I CASE'd it from a blog that I look at, but since there was no watermark on the picture, I don't remember who's blog!  If it is your's, let me know.  I would love to give you credit for this super cute card!

P1120370Here is how it opens up!  Notice the Woodgrain Embossing done on the main card piece using the BIg Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439) and the Woodgrain embossing folder (127821)?  I love this new embossing folder in the Holiday Mini Catalog!  The head is cut from the Top Note die (113463) and the eyes and beak are punches.

For the owl tummy, we used the Labels Collection Framelits dies (125598) with Scallop Ovals punches (119656).

P1120371This is the second card that we made.  The girl's loved punching out all of the different sized circles from what ever colors of cardstock they wanted!  The cupcake is from the Easy Events stamp set (116958).

The last project that they made was a bookmark.

P1110546-001They got to choose which punch they wanted to use, Owl Builder punch (118074), Cupcake builder punch (121807) or the Bird Builder punch (117191) and they got to pick their colors too!  They are so creative!

If you have a child, age 6 and older, that might be interested in coming to a class, contact me and I will get them on my mailing list!  I have a separate lits for just my kid's classes.

Build-a-bear Coloring Tins

Hello Stampers!  I have a couple more craft fairs this fall, so I'm still making fun items to sell.

P1090658-1I decided to make these Build-a-bear coloring tins.  These are the tins that were on the clearance rack a few months ago.  They were the tins that held the big flower stickers a couple of years ago.

P1090659-1On the inside I included a small box of crayons and several stamped images for the kids to color.  I used the Beary Best Friends stamp set (118052) and the Family Accessories stamp set (113494).

I used my Crop-a-Dile (108362) to punch holes in the tin to add a ribbon handle.

My remaining craft fairs are DeSmet Mother's Mass on December 1st and Oakville High School on December 3rd and 4th.  Hope to see you at one of them!

Kid's Camp

Hello Stampers!  Well yesturday I started my Spring Cleaning.  That is what I call it, but it really takes me most of the summer!  I HATE to clean, so the way I do it is I pick a room each week.  That way I only have one day out of the week where I don't get any stamping done!  My daughter Amie has agreed to help me this year too.  She is money hungry!!!  But she is a good worker.  So yesturday, we tackled the Master bedroom and bath.  Next week, perhaps the Dining and Living room!  What fun!  I also got to go to the Cardinals baseball game last night!  My friend Cindy called me up and said that she had box seats for the game and wanted us to go!  We were so excited!  They were great seats!!!  Thanks Cindy!

Now for the cards from my Kid's camp on Wednesday.

Happy Thursday!

Hello Stampers!  Today was great!  I got to play and stamp almost all day!  I love days like that!!!  Let me show you some of the things I did today!

Blog 335 I finished packaging up my first paper shares.  The recipients get sixty different 6 X 6 pieces of designer series paper.  That's a sample of every piece of paper in ten designer series paper packs!  If you are interested in joining in on a paper share, let me know and I will give you the details!

Blog 336 A co-worker of mine turns 50 tomorrow!  Happy birthday Margie!  I made her a fun little card.  I know, shame on me, I used some SU! stamp sets that are retired!  But, I just love the expression on this little girls face!!!  She is from the stamp set Kids At Play.  The alphabet I used is the Best Friends alphabet.

Blog 338 This is the fun bag that I made to wrap her present in!  Don't you love it???  I used the Celebrate Everything SU! stamp set and the 1" circle punch for the balloons.

Blog 337 Finally, here's my fun little Elmo like birthday card.  I saw this in a magazine and copied it using all SU! punches.  Very fun!  The eyes are the 1 3/8" circle punch and the 1" circle punch.  The nose is the Wide Oval punch.  The mouth is just free handed.

Happy Stampin and TTFN!

Birthday Stamp-A-Stack cont.

Hello Stampers!  Happy Monday!  Wow, I could tell by the way the preschoolers were acting today that it was either Wild Wednesday, a full moon, or a major weather system was coming through!  Since today was Monday, and there wasn't a full moon, it had to be the weather changing, and sure enough, the snow started coming down at around 5:00 p.m.  They have already called and cancelled school for tomorrow, so the kids are very excited that they get to sleep in tomorrow!  Unfortunately, my day of being home alone and stamping all day has vanished into thin air!!!  Oh well, we have already planned a special lunch and an afternoon of home spa treatments!!!

Blog 247 This is another one of the cards that we made during my Birthday Stamp-A-Stack.  Don't you just love the dog driving the car????  I totally CASE'd this card from www.stampingaddict.blogspot.com.  I even loved the way that she cut the top off of this truck from SU! Loads of Love stamp set (now you recognize it don't you!!!) and made it a convertable!  What a cute idea!!!  The tires were made by punching a 1/8" hole in black cardstock and then using the 1/2" circle punch to punch around it!  The dog and presents were stamped on a separate piece of white cardstock, cut out, and attached behind the truck.  Here's the recipe:

Stamp set - Loads of Love, Loads of Love Accessories

Cardstock - Garden Green, Ruby Red, Brilliant Blue, White, Black

Stamp pad - Black

Accessories - Scallop Circle punch, 1 3/8" circle punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, 1/8" hole punch, 1/2" circle punch, markers, Brilliant blue designer series paper

Blog 248

This cute card is a total CASE from a swap that I received from Sara Cimbaro.  I just loved everything about it including the colors!  Here's the recipe:

Stamp set - Bugs & Kisses

Cardstock - Lovely Lilac, Green Galore, Almost Amythyst, Tempting Turquoise, White, Gable Green

Stamp pad - Lovely Lilac, Green Galore, Tempting Turquoise

Accessories - Markers

Happy Stampin' and TTFN!
