Painted Harvest samples

Hello Stampers!  Well I was whisked away this weekend to see my daughters, so no work got done!  Instead I spent the weekend shopping, baking, doing crafts, and watching our favorite shows!!  It was so great to see them both and spend time with them!  I miss them both so much!

I did not get a chance to show you some other alternative projects using the Painted Harvest stamp set.  So, here they are:

Painted Harvest, Inkin With DinkI love the way this card turned out!  For the flowers I used Soft Sky and Marina Mist.  The middle of the flower was stamped in Sahara Sand.  Beautiful sympathy cards!!

Painted Harvest, Inkin With Dink

These are fun little bags I made for my crop in September.  I try to make a little pillow gift every month.  I simply stamped the flower in Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry and punched it out with a circle punch.  Our 2" X 8" cello bags hold the bite sized candy bars just perfectly!  So fun!

Thanks for stopping by!  Don't forget that I'm making my Mail A Card Monday on my Inkin With Dink Stampers Facebook group tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.  Click on the link to join our fun group!!

Monogram framed art

Hello Stampers!  Every month I take a class at a local craft shop where we do a project using our Silhouette machines.  These are e-cutter machines.  This month we started a new series of framed art pieces to go into shadow boxes.  Here is what we made this month:

monogram shadow box, Inkin With Dink Of course, this picture doesn't do it justice!  It is so pretty.  The flowers are all cut out separately as well as the leaves behind the flowers.

Don't you think these would make great wedding gifts?  Love them!

Thailand 3D swap

Hello Stampers!  Today I wanted to share with you the 3D swap that I made for the Thailand trip.  When we signed up for the card swap, we could also sign up for a 3D swap.  I love 3D swaps!  It is so fun to see all of the fun little projects people come up with!

My upline Jeri, has been making items out of wine corks.  I decided that they would make a great Christmas ornament!  Here is what I came up with:

Christmas ornament, Inkin With Dink The corks are all cut in half first, then glued together.  The designer series paper circles are from the Be Merry designer series paper pack.  The snowflake is cut from the Silver Glimmer Paper using the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.  I then wrapped the Cherry Cobbler 1/4" Double-stitched ribbon around the outside of each cork.

Now let's just hope they all stay together during the 2 travel days with three plane rides!  Wish me luck!  I will be showing you the swaps that I received when I'm back home!

Happy 4th of July!

Hello Stampers!  I hope that you have all had a fabulous holiday with your friends and family.  I managed to get some crafting done in between all of my packing!

Take a look at these super cute Hershey kisses holders that I made for my club members.  I get this idea from Brenda Quintana, she is the Hershey kisses queen!

star Hershey kiss holder, Inkin With Dink

Here is the side view:

star Hershey kiss holder, Inkin With Dink Super cute and super easy to make!

Here is a quick tutorial:

Cut two stars from cardstock using the star framelit from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits.

Cut a strip of the same color of cardstock, 4" X 1".  Score this strip at 1", 2" & at 3".

Fold strip in half.  Along the folded edge, make a mark at 3/8" and at 5/8".  Cut from these marks along the fold down to the first scored line on each side.  This will leave a 1/4" space along the fold only.

Fold into a triangle and glue one of the bottom flaps over the other.  Glue a star on each side and slip a Hershey kiss inside.

Enjoy!  These will be cute at Christmas time too!

Dragonfly Treats

Hello Stampers!  Every month at my crop, I make little table gifts for the attendees.  It is so much fun to try to come up with these goodies!  Well, tomorrow is my crop so I thought I would show you what I made for the attendees!

Detailed Dragonfly candy nuggets, Inkin With Dink Here is a small cluster of dragonflies (did you know that is what you call a group of dragonflies?)

Detailed Dragonfly Hershey nuggets, Inkin With Dink And here is one upclose.  I wrapped a Hershey nugget with a 1" wide strip of designer series paper from the Fresh Florals designer series paper stack.  I then cut out a dragonfly from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits.  The dragonfly is simply glued down to the candy!  So cute!

It is still a secret to the attendees tomorrow, so don't let them know what they are!  We want them to be surprised!!!

Weekend projects

Hello Stampers!  Thanks for coming back today to check out my fun projects that I made over the weekend!  I got together with a good friend of mine that I actually met through Stampin' Up!  She lives a couple of hours away and we used to get to see each other every year at Convention and again at Leadership.  Now that Stampin' Up! has changed the way they hold Convention, and the locations, we don't get to see each other very often!  So we decided we just needed to make an effort, and this weekend was it!  We met in the middle on Sunday.  Got a hotel room and stamped and talked for hours!  We had so much fun!  Here are the projects that we made:

Twist & pop card, Inkin With Dink This was the first project that I brought.  I wanted to figure out how to make a twist and pop card!

Twist n' pop card, Inkin With Dink We did it!  So easy and such a WOW card!

Gift card wallet, Inkin With Dink I also wanted to make a gift card wallet using our gift bag punch board!

Gift card wallet, Inkin With Dink They turned out really cute too!  Be watching for a video on how to make these!

pop up card, Inkin With Dink Sue brought this pop up card for us to make!

pop up card, Inkin With Dink This is how it opens up!  Such a fun card!

Inkin With Dink We also made this more elaborate one:

Cool Treats Clip

Hello Stampers!  I have to show you this super cute big paper clip that I received at a class that I attended at OnStage in April.  The whole class was centered around the Cool Treats stamp set and was super cute!  The supplies that we needed for the class were all in a bag that was held closed by this super cute clip!

Cool treats paper clip, Inkin With Dink

I have made clips like this before, and the are super easy to make!  The scallop circle that is around the image, just be sure to cut two of them.  They they are held together with glue dots with the large paperclip sandwiched between them!  It's that easy!

I was able to find these large paper clips at Walmart, but I'm sure they are available in multiple locations.

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh So Succulent Box

Hello Stampers!  Yesterday I shared with you the cards that we made as make n' takes at our April team meeting.  I made anther box, but it didn't make the cut and got scrapped at the last minute!  Would you like to see it?  I do really like it!

IMG_8843-001 Here are the measurements of the box:  3 3/4" wide x 1 1/2" deep X 7" high.  I used the Succulent Garden designer series paper.  The flower is made from the Pansy punch, Blossom Builder punch, and a White Accent in the middle!

Now my question to you is, what would you do with a box this size???  Please leave me a comment and let me know what you would do!

Thanks for stopping by!
