Penguin sliders!

Hello Stampers!  Did the title of this post draw your interest?  I considered changing it because my first thought was a slider like a little sandwich and I didn't want you to think I was cooking and eating penguins!!!  But I kept the title because then it made me laugh!  After that lead in, here is the card:

Snow Place slider penguin card, Inkin With DInk This super cute card was displayed at a stamping event I recently attended.  I thought it was just adorable using the Snow Place stamp set and the Sliding Star Framelits.  The Snow Place stamp set even has coordinating framelits called the Snow Friends Framelits.

I'm off on a scrapbooking weekend this weekend so there won't be any card creating for a few days!  Just lots of pages!!!

Get Well Shaker card

Hello Stampers!  Isn't it hard to come up with a clever idea for get well cards?  I know we all need them, and we would like a feel good, make me laugh type of card.  But ideas are just hard!  Well I have a fun get well card to show you today!  This was a sample at a Stampin' Up! event I recently attended.  I love this idea!

Get Well Soup shaker card, Inkin With Dink It's a shaker card!  And can you tell what is inside?  Those are little pasta shapes!  I think the little letter pasta would really be cute too!  And of course shaker cards are super easy to make now with the foam strips!  The stamp with the soup bowl is the Get Well Soup stamp from the annual catalog.

Thanks for stopping by!  Come back tomorrow because you won't want to miss the super cute card I'm going to show then!!!

Thinking of you!

Hello Stampers!  Happy Monday!  I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend with your families!  Our weather here has been wonderful, although I have to say that I am certainly not ready for winter!

I have a cute but simple card to show you today!  I love the simplicity and cuteness of this card!  I saw this card at a recent event that I attended for demonstrators and it is also in the catalog!

The frog on this card is the cute little frog from the the Love You Lots hostess stamp set!

I just never seem to think about CASEing the cards from the catalog, but I really should!  That's what they are there for!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Pet Sympathy using Swirly Bird

Hello Stampers!  I recently saw this card on display and decided I need to take a picture so that I have it for reference in the future.  I just hate it when someone looses their family pet.  If they are anything like me, my pets become like my kids.  I just become so attached.  I thought this card was such a great idea and super simple to make.  What do you think?

IMG_7792-001 This card uses the Swirly Bird stamp set for the paw print and the Rose Wonder stamp set for the greeting.  It also has one of the swirlies from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits set.  Such a cute card and fairly simple to make!

I've got my all day crop tomorrow so I hope to get a lot of projects done and can show you some next week!  Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Family blocks

Hello Stampers!  Monday's are my days to show you other crafts that I have been working on.  Today's project is one that I just love!

IMG_7851-001 Isn't this fun?  I painted the blocks first.  Then added a layer of designer series paper.  On top of that is the vinyl letters that were cut using a Silhouette.  So simple and fun!  But, I wanted something that as going to be very functional, so I did this to the other side:

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you enjoyed this project!
