Elephant birthday card

Hello Stampers!  Well, today is my daughter, Amie's birthday!  She is away at college so I knew I had to make her a cute birthday card!  Since she LOVES elephants, I of course pulled out the Zoo Babies stamp set.  Here is what I came up with:

IMG_5514 This is a stairstep card.  This one is called a center stairstep card.

I used the Build a Birthday stamp set for the candles and Zoo Babies for the elephant.  The birthday hat was punched using the Tree punch.

Well I'm off to Dallas today for the new Stampin' Up! Onstage Event!  I'm so excited!  I won't be posting to my blog while I'm gone, but I hope to be posting on Facebook.  We are going to get to see the new Occasions catalog that comes out in January as well as the Sale-a-Bration catalog!  We will also get to play with some of the new products!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

A-corny birthday!

Hello Stampers!  I guess I have to switch gears a little bit and go from Halloween to Fall.  It certainly doesn't feel like Fall here though!  Temperatures are supposed to get close to 80 degrees here for the next several days, which is unheard of for early November!  But I'm going to enjoy it anyway!

So here is the card I came up with today!

IMG_5502 I have seen a couple of cards similar to this floating around, but I added my own take on it!  I used the Acorny Thank You stamp set and the colors Cherry Cobbler, Perfect Plum, Crushed Curry, and Garden Green.  You need to pop up the caps with dimensionals so that it gives your card a pop!!

Thanks for stopping by!
