More Team Meeting swaps

Hello Stampers!  Well, it's not exactly the next day, but nevertheless, I'm back to show you the rest of the swaps from my last team meeting!  Here they are:

  IMG_3774 Made by Kathy

   IMG_3775 Made by Lynn

IMG_3776 Made by Karen

IMG_3777 Made by Tracy

IMG_3778 Made by Debbie H.

IMG_3779 Finally, this was my swap.  This card took quite a while to make, but I love the result.  I first stamped the images on the white cardstock.  The stamp set I used was Painted Petals.  I then cut the word happy out of this cardstock and set it aside.  Adhere the negative to the card front.  Cut the same word, happy, out of our Coaster Board.  Take this word cut out of coaster board and adhere it into the negative space on the card front.  Finally, take the cut word happy from the stamped piece and adhere to top of coaster board word.

I hope you have enjoyed these swaps!  If you would like to join in our next swap, contact me and I can tell you how!  You don't even need to be local to participate!

Team meeting swaps

Hello Stampers!  Today I wanted to share with you some of the swaps from our recent team meeting.  Our theme this time was anything Spring, such as Mother's Day!  Here are some of the cards:

IMG_3768 Debbie H. made this card.

IMG_3769 Marissa made this great card!  This was her first time participating in our swap!  She did a great job!

IMG_3770 Julie made this card.

IMG_3771 Sheila made this card!  It is like an apron!  And better yet, it has chocolate!

IMG_3772 Pat V. made this card.

IMG_3773 Laura made this card.  I believe that this card has convinced me that I need this background stamp, Something Lacy!

I hope that you have enjoyed looking at my swaps!  Come back tomorrow and you can see the rest of them!

Spain scrapbook album

Hello Stampers!  As some of you may know, my youngest daughter Amie is currently in Spain.  She went with some other kids from school who are currently in a Spanish 3 or 4 class.  They are there for 10 days.  For 6 of the days, the kids are staying with separate host families.  We sent lots of gifts for the host families, including a scrapbook which the kids were to make.

Amie is very lucky that she has a mother who is into papercrafting!  I just happened to have an extra 8X8 album sitting around, as well as an old scrapbook kit that Stampin' Up! used to carry!  Here is what we put together:

Well, what do you think?  She did a pretty good job didn't she???  I hope the family likes it too!

Thanks for stopping by!  Come back tomorrow and see what else I have to show you!!

Kid's card class

Hello Stampers! Well, my kid's class is over for this month, but I just had to show you the projects that we made!   I love them!

IMG_3679 This card was pretty easy!  The kids just took strips of designer series paper and adhered them onto a piece of white cardstock in whatever order they liked.  We then used the Oval Collections framelits to cut it out!  It was that simple! The part that took the longest was them trying to figure out which side of each strip of designer series paper they liked the best and then what order they wanted to put them in!

IMG_3677 This fun card is a cell phone!  I got this idea from my upline!  What a great use for the Just Sayin' stamp set and coordinating framelits!

IMG_3678 This project was probably my favorite!  Don't you just love a bunny bum??  We used the Circle Treat Cups and several punches to create these!  We put Easter colored M & M's in their cups!  YUM!

Thanks for stopping by today and checking out my kid's class projects!  Let me know if you have any questions!

Painted Blooms Canvas

Hello Stampers! I realized that I never shared with you the spectacular project that we made at our February team meeting.  This one was our longer quarterly meetings where we will do either a shoebox swap or bigger project.  This month, one of my teammates, Lynn, taught us how to do a Designer Series Paper Canvas!  We were all so excited for it that we could hardly wait for the meeting date to arrive!!!

Here is my finished canvas:

IMG_3652 Isn't it gorgeous???

The background is a piece of designer series paper from the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper pack.  It was mod podged onto a 12 X 12 canvas.   We punched out flowers of different sizes and stacked several on top of each other to make the 3D flowers.  Once the flowers were punched, we spritzed them and then crinkled them all up real good.  Then we laid them back out and let them dry.

We also added butterflies that were punched out.  We used both the Elegant Butterfly and the Bitty Butterfly punches.   There are pearls in the middle of the flowers and on the butterflies.  So pretty!  This picture just doesn't do it justice!

Let me know if you would like some more information about how to make one of these!

Project Life cards

Hello Stampers! A couple of weekends ago I held an informative Project Life class.  I was able to show everyone some of the card collections and accessory packs as well as tons of products that coordinate with the project life kits.  I was also able to show them some completed albums of varying sizes as well as some hybrid scrapbook pages that I have made.

The gals were able to make a card using some of the cards from the This Day Project Life Mini card collection.  Here are the samples that they got to choose from:

What do you think?  Yep, each one of these cards was made using a card from the This Day Project Life card collections!

You can get this card collection for FREE during Sale-a-bration!  There are 30 double-sided cards in this pack, so that would make 30 cards if that is what you choose to do with them!  WOW!  And the regular card collections contain 100 double sided cards!!

I will be holding another one of these informational classes in the next couple of months.  Let me know if you are interested or just keep watching for more details!
